Lieberman is no Zell Miller. Lieberman is liberal when it comes to civil rights, education, and health care; moderate on crime, taxes, spending, and defense; and a hawk when it comes to the war on terrorism. Come to think of it, he's somewhat like JFK. I would prefer Lamont, but am okay with Lieberman. At any rate, I'm glad someone's going after his sanctimonious *****.

Like JFK??That is a bit od a stretch...like a long one..Really..I don't remember JFK attacking Democrats like Liberman has...or playing footsie so much with the Repubs. Lieberman is out for Lieberman only..that's why he won't endorse Lamont and run in his own party..He wants it both ways all the time. I was OK with him years ago, but this whole Iraq thing has showed me what he really is all about...and he hasn't helped himself much at all with a lot of his actions. Funny how he attacked Clinton so pompusly when he had the chance, but stuck his neck outwhen Fineman was talking about Bush..saying how devisve that was. That shows what a mental midget he is when it comes to morals. It isn't that he's just for the war, but he attacks Democrats who question the war as much as Repulblicans. JFK?? Don't smear a dead President by comparing lying Joe to him..he's far far from him.

I should have said that Lieberman's policies are somewhat like JFKs. On the other hand, his political style is loathsome. He's sanctimonious, and I hate the way he sucks up to Bush and criticized Clinton.

yes...they are ore moderate in many ways..liberal..sure..NOT as progressive as many would like..but really good in a quiet way. But there are many things he is far away from, besides his total support of the war to the way he sometimes plays both sides. Yes, the more I know about him, the more I will be happy if he is out..but..it may not happen.

Shows that he is a person of high moral character, something that can't be said about most democrats.
