Non Farm Payroll this month another disaster, btw the weak MAy report was revised dwon ~50%.

Stunner: NFP Up Just 18K, Unemployment Rate 9.2%, Household Survey Down 445,000, Birth Death +131,000 | zero hedge

Of course the Administration adn Reid want more spending as part of raising the debt ceiling. What a joke.

A very cogent and compelling argument you've advanced, Khayos. Color me convinced!

I guess simple facts cannot be nuanced enough to be used by you.

Obama's following the same sort of approach that Roosevelt followed when Republicans gained considerable power in the House of Representatives in 1937. Roosevelt reduced government spending and we entered a mini-Depression. Obama has had to battle state governments vastly reducing payrolls, which has obviously contributed to our economic difficulties. We need to raise taxes to address the deficit, and increase spending. That's the formula that has worked for everyone from Roosevelt to Reagan to Clinton.

To call liberal policies "fail" is the understatement of the year. :bricks:

The fact that none other than the crackhead in chief himself admitted his jobs were not as "shovel ready" as he thought shows how epic their failure is.

That was tremendous - try keeping it shorter next time with smaller paragraphs and better spacing.

The next time I see you presenting facts in the course of making an argument will be the first.

The term "simple" is key here, I think.

Attatching one single cause to an incredibly complex problem like unemployment is infantile and is a sort of self-indictment you did not intend, I'm sure. There are3 problems in our current economic system that transcent simplistic, throw-away explainations. Such an approach is dangerous and leaves more leverage for those who are doing the real damage.

This is one of the reasons I considered voting for McCain -- so that the pubbies couldn't just ignore what Bush helped create and try to pin it on his successor.

I think you need to re-read Wista's comments with regards to your own.

I feel like chico's comments follow wistah's swimmingly. And as we've seen from PF13 and elsewhere, it's borne out exactly as he stated.
