I know this probably won't happen.
I know that many of you should go find a box of medicated puffs before you read this thread.
But It would be nice to trade Matt Cassel to Tampa Bay.

Seems like he could fit in there.

and lets be honest, if we did trade him, once he got there, who gives a rat's ass if he fits anyways?

I really don't see us trading him for at least 2 more years. But it's at least something non-negative (kinda) to talk about.

Let the tirade begin......................................
who's first?

What do unproven 2nd year 7th round draft picks go for these days?

Don't ask me.

call John Gruden.

But i see your point.............. Kliiff Kingsbury and Shaun King are fantastic options.

what the hell was i thinking?

I have a better idea. Let's trade you to Tampa Bay's message board for one of their cheerleader calendars.

they'll give you more than that. I'm worth millions.

What, i can't have a little fun with this idea?

i never said it was realistic....

everything else is so damn negative..

hahahhhahahahahaha

why do you think we brought Vinny Green-ball in right after Simms got injured??

it's b/c Gruden talked to BB and we are trading Cassel.

If Brady doesn't play we are finished anyways..

we might as well trade Cassel for something.

hahahahahahahaahahah

We aren't trading him to TB. A young QB who would take a while to learn a new system wouldn't help them much now, especially being 0-3 already.

However, we will get something good for him at the end of this year or next. As opposed to Davey, it is obvious that Cassel has "it". Just wait and see.

let me have my fun patsox... i know you don't like me.

but calling me idiotic hurts my feeeeeeeeeeeeelings........:singing:

I don't think this is smart. We won't be able to get anything valuable for him right now (that will help us now). If for some reason TB got hurt and missed a few games Cassell could fill in and probably do pretty well. We don't have a #3, so why get rid of a guy who knows our system---TB's not indestructible, so let's keep our insurance! Cassell has looked good in the brief appearances he's had, he probably won't lead us to the superbowl, but he could get us threw a few game stretch if need be.

that's my $.02:cool:

I agree he will be traded possibly next year, but doing it this year will get us nothing. TB is not desperate for him as they'll probably end up with a high draft pick anyway. Has "it" though? I don't know about that. He looked 'decent' in preseason against 2nd and 3rd string. Unless Brady gets hurt and he can show is stuff, he's just another unknown commodity in my opinion that isn't worth much.

Brady is one in a million, and Cassell was drafted even lower.

No Keegs, how about we dont send Cassel. We'd then have no second QB if Brady gets injured. Lets just trade him for a draft pick, who needs a good 2nd QB incase of a disasterous injury to Brady? Just trade every backup on the team and hope there are no injuries for any position.

You've never seen anyone's point butt your own.

And yes, we're still wondering how you type with your arse.

Hmmm.....trade away our only backup QB. Sounds just a little bit stupid.
