Heh..."hit bottom" <rimshot>

Heh..."rimshot"

It is almost impossible not to embarrass Sanchez after this one.

Indeed.

It kinda looks like Sanchez is pinching one off in that photo! :D

The Spanksgiving Cl-ass-ic ! :D

I was just doing some surfing on a alzy Saturday and came across the madden Sim on ESPN for this week. Actually called it fairly closely as far as how the game went:

Video Games - EA Sports Simulations - ESPN

The big question is: Will Madden added The Sanchez Bumble as a possible play outcome for the Jets next year? It would be an awesome addition.

Everyone thinks this was a screw up by Sanchez. Instead I think it was a called play, that did not go the way he planned. Sanchez was in the huddle and called the Bummerooski on 2, which is a take off the Fumblerooski, which only the sharp minds of the Jets could devise..

In American football, the fumblerooski is a trick play, famously used by the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers against the University of Miami Hurricanes in the 1984 Orange Bowl. It was invented by John Heisman.[1] In the fumblerooski, the quarterback deliberately places or leaves the ball on the ground upon receiving it from the center, technically fumbling it. The backs will run to the right, and the right guard will pick up the ball and run to the left.[2]

So, it has to be known as the Bummerooski, IMO.

Just realised that in the 2 games this season, Sanchez has produced a pure comedy moment in both!

Butt Fumble and his David Beckham impression in the first game!

Thanks Marky Mark!

yeah, but the one where he's lined up as a WR and the CB jumps at him (and Mark has a scared reaction) is also priceless. Sanchez, the gift that keeps on giving. Not only does he bumble it for the jets, they have a load of $$$ tied up in him :D.

Has anyone asked Brandon Moore's butt what it thought about the play? After all, it had the best view.

This is one of the greatest threads in this board's history.

Maybe we should just call it Mark.
