Providence mayor wants to tax college students
You mean they aren't? :confused2:
next up......tax the non-profits
Don't forget Churches! btw non-profit organization are joke and most of the non-profit organization take in millions/thousands and pay there CEO's 250k a year kinda like the lady that runs Red Cross
If you take in any money you should be taxed on it weather or not your a church/college/non-profit cause in the end someone is making money and if your making money you should be taxed on it.
There's no such thing as non-profit
collections at houses of worship will be taken by federal tax agents.......they will then take 90% of the collection
Well if there pulling in millions like some of these churches.....good i'm all for it:singing:
You don't run a church to get a tax break, I'm not sure who said it but someone once said that if you want make money, start a church lol
P.S Found it, L Ron Hubbard said "The way to make a million dollars is to start a religion."
Religions are all about controlling people and taking their money. That's one reason liberalism is a religion.
I agree with your first point but on the 2nd your off base but that's your opinion
I agree.....and then after that, they can take 90% of the Avon Breast Cancer walks, and when they pull up to the drive thru at macdonalds, they can take 90% of whats in the box under the window........then they can take $$ from the jimmy fund, too........a few more, and they might balance the budget
Actually I'm right on base. But, you're still young. You'll learn.
Ignorance is bliss
Oh and BTW don't matter how old you are or how young you are, Idea's are not prejudice by age.
Some of the smartest ppl in the world are 30 and below, little food for thought
"a few more, and they might balance the budget"
I laughed I hate taxes like everyone eles and i'm all for tax reform but I understand why we have them and there important the main problem is the ppl running the show, they get all these taxes and what do the do? waste it on stupid goverment programs that don't work. If you where to clean up system my bet is alot of thouse programs would work.
nope.....he's right on the mark.....actually, he's close......liberalism is more like a cult...........or the occult
some of the smartest people in the world are under 30.....they just don't know it yet
Religion, cult, what's the difference really? :confused2:
Isn't Obama Beautiful
throw liberalism in there, too
Ambivalent about taxing college students, in Providence between Brown, RISD, Johnson and Wales and PC there are a ton of kids who demand a lot of public resources..
On one hand they tax existing resources and on the other by being here they spend money that is taxed.. not sure the answer, but RI has been in serious difficulty with tax revenue for a long time now. This is just another suggestion to try to close the gap, without diminishing services.
No "Payment in Lieu of Taxes"(AKA "PILOT") payments by the schools down there to offset some of the costs for basic needs(police, fire, EMS, public works etc.)?
Not that I am aware of, the Prov. Colleges and Universities are very similar to the Boston situation.. as they are all integrated into local neighborhoods.... all of the students and infrastructure require a lot of city services..
