No different than a pats cheer at Fenway.

Oh my Tebow, how horrible for a team to support another of the local teams after a dramatic victory. It was awesome after the Saints game making the long walk back from the 300's and hearing the Sox chants...

It's the World Series. Fenway was chanting let's go Bruins back in June. Are we so spoiled here that being in the finals is considered just another game???

Enjoy this, we'll probably never have a run like this involving all 4 of our teams again in our lifetimes.

Who would have thought it -- fans of one team are also fans of another team in the city?

Some of you sure are miserable douchebags.

No, some of us are pats fans not the old ******* bastard red sox fans who view the Pats as a nice way to kill the 2 weeks between the end of the World Series and spring training before they open another 3000 game season.

It's ridiculously disrespectful to cheer for the goddamn Red Sox at the Patriots game after the Patriots just gutted out a win against a team who was kicking their ass.

But what should I expect from a fanbase that cheers a penalty on a great Troy Brown punt return because the Red Sox box score got flashed on the screen.

Let's go Redsox *Clap clap clap clap calp* - I hate our fans.

Normally I would be okay with it but I don't really like the Red Sox. They have stated they consider the Patriots their number one rival.

Actually, you and some other folks just sound miserable that most fans in the area are fans of both teams.

Hate to tell you this, it's not either / or. But keep seething about the fact that that's reality.

Now you're being ridiculous. Nobody cheered a penalty. And the cheer today was barely much of a cheer. Being at the stadium it was over almost as soon as it began. I barely heard it in our section. Plus, who cares the game was over and it was in recognition of Patriots doing their business and moving over to the next local favorite. You are being more than a bit over sensitive.

Remember when one of the Patriots players started a Yankees suck chant during the Super Bowl championship parade?

I also remember being in Houston for SB 38 and a bunch of Pats fans starting a Yankees Suck chant because some guy was wearing a Yanks cap. But they obviously weren't "real" Pats fans... :)

It's ridiculous to complain about this. I'd say its a safe assumption that most Pats fans are Red Sox fans and vice versa. The team being in the World Series is a big deal. Do you really not think there would be a similar chant if the Pats were in a Superbowl and somehow the Red Sox were playing a game a Fenway? They did it for the Bruins and Celtics. Stop using your personal feelings about the Red Sox as an excuse to be a buzzkill.

This was years ago. Troy Brown got a huge return called back for a penalty and the stupid Bosox crowd cheered the box score up on the ticker. Damien Woody was quoted as being really confused why the crowd had cheered that.

No big deal though. This is a region where people chant Yankees Suck at a wedding.

I don't give a **** about the Red Sox. It's not like I post about them trolling their fans or some ****. But keep your stupid boring sport in its own dumb stadium.

Right, you don't. Sadly for you, most of your fellow Pats fans do.

What's it like being so obviously bitter that so many people around you enjoy it when the Red Sox win? You actually sound more upset than a lot of Yankees fans I know, many of whom are rooting for the Sox.
