    #24 Jersey

The more WR out on the market the better. I have no idea how we'd rate Lelie, probably mostly as a deep guy like Andre Davis so I don't think we'd have much interest. I hope the WR market is flooded though.

We didn't show too much interest in Lelie last season, I doubt we'll pursue this season.

We already have a deep threat on this team (Chad Jackson).

Lelie is all about the money. No way he'll become a Patriot.

    Lelei is a dope.

He cut himself, and I will predict that he will get zero FA offers exceeding his voided contract. He is undependable on the short passes; doesn't go over the middle; and isn't a reliable deep receiver.

In desperation, he will eventually sign for near minimum money as the preseason draws to a close... He is a Peerless Price or Andre Davis type of player.
Look how well they did reading their imagined press clippings. :bricks:

    Lelie sucks.

He is one of those players that gets more attention than he should.

    #12 Jersey

Like to see them take a run at Dante Stallworth, or Drew Bennet, we need a underneath guy and then hopefully... HOPEFULLY, Chad Jackson could be a deep threat..

Lelie does NOT have good fans. More to making a good WR than speed and size alone.

I don't think you can say he doesn't have good hands because of his performance in Atlanta. Vick has made it quite clear that he makes it pretty damn tough for his receivers to catch his passes. I think Lelie would be good with Brady, but I don't think we will see him in a Pats uni.

Caldwell and Gaffney are both equivalent to or better than Lelie. Lelie is just about Denver's #3 guy.

Just out of curiosity, wdkantro, I was wondering why your signature says Chad Jackson but that is a picture of Caldwell...;)

First time I read this I thought it said "Lelie avoids contact..." and thought "tell us something we don't know.."

I want nothing to do with him. I do not think he will get a good paycheck, nor do I think he will fit in this system. I have seen him drop too many passes that hit him right in his hands in both Denver and Atlanta, and I don't care who your QB is, if you drop passes that hit you in the hands, you are playing the wrong position.

I had the Chad thing in there since I joined, but I wanted to show a sweet picture I took of Caldwell at training camp as well :)
I guess I look like an idiot, because everyone thinks I think it's Chad instead of Reche!

I would love him on this team. As a bonus, he wouldn't torment the Pats twice a year, either.
