To hire a coach of a defense that gave up almost 24 points a game.

I can see that you have a hard time with Math. Patriots only gave up 20.4 points a game including the play-offs.

Keep up th "great' work Tony.

I didn't include the Playoffs. What is 375 divided by 16

    23.4375

BTW including the playoffs it's 22.5

    Skeptical of Mangini

A week ago Belichick said he spent more time with the front seven this year. I interpreted that to mean he was forced to intervene to get the defense up to snuff.

I don't think we should worry about the Jets next year.

So you rounded 23.4375 to 24. Rounding up is generally done only when you are more than 50% to the next number.

    You must've worked for Enron......

i am so glad that mangini had healthy, probowl players all year long and the jets actually never heard of him until tomorrow.

Hey Smart guy. Where did you get that the Patriots gave up 375 points? Even including the Playoffs, they didn't give up that many points.

    Game 1 - 20
    Game 2 - 27
    Game 3 - 20
    Game 4 - 41
    Game 5 - 28
    Game 6 - 28
    Game 7 - 16
    Game 8 - 40
    Game 9 - 16
    Game 10 - 17
    Game 11 - 26
    Game 12 - 3
    Game 13 - 7
    Game 14 - 0
    Game 15 - 21
    Game 16 - 28

    TOTAL - 338

    AVG Per Game: 21.1

    Including Playoffs - (338+30)/18 = 20.4

Like I said. You need to work on your math. And, I am guessing your reading skills since its obvious you didn't read whatever site you got your information properly.
