What moron at NBC came up with this genius idea ?

Oh well, Criminal Minds wins out for me. Sorry L&O. And yes, I need to get TiVO - but I'm always slow on these things so L&O just lost a viewer.

I don't watch either religiously, but I think Law and Order will win out in that battle.

I watch new L&O and re-runs religiously. But Criminal Minds' stories have simply been better this year. I am a serious L&O guy but . . . they're not winning this one with me. Now, if it was SVU vs. Criminal Minds, that would make me get TiVO :)

Well Criminal Minds ended up being very, very good. I went ahead and taped L&O so I'll watch that tonight I guess.

Criminal Minds rules, I may even like it better than SVU now.

He's supposed to, he plays the "Genius nerd with a photographic memory" part well.

I watched Heist last night and thought it was pretty good. Totally different from any other show (kind of take-off of Ocean 11). Clever show with many digs back and forth from white cop to black cop. Pretty graphic scene where kid gets blown up by bomb. I'm sure if its a hit there will be three more like it on next year.

So is L&O back to 10pm ? It was last night and is next week. Did Criminal Minds kick it's ass back to it's old slot ? :D

I stopped watching Law & Order years ago But, I don't watch Criminal Minds either. I'm so sick of all the L&O, CSI, Crossing Jordan, NCIS shows. They're all the same. And they're all written to the lowest common denominator.

I'm a fan of L and O, assuming it's still the same formula (I'm guessing we're a series or two behind). I love the sardonic banter of the cops. I particularly like Criminal Intent. NCIS had its first episode last week here and looks like good fun. What sort of show is Criminal Minds? Miss Gcat loves CSI. I don't mind the Las Vegas one (Tarantino's episode was a classic) but the others don't do it for me at all. Kudos to our Channel 5 (terrestrial TV which is the least popular of our five non-satellite channels) as they show all of the above.
My favourite, though, is the Shield. I'm waiting for the final series to come out over here. Vic Mackey is the ultimate anti-Hero.
