somewhere in there i actually did say gettin him would mean we would hafta move vrabel inside
personally, i think woodley can hold the edge better against the run

db, you are right about woodley vs adalius when it comes to pass coverage
but i feel that woodley will be a better pass rusher
as well as better containing the run
honestly, i dont remember the last time an outside linebacker came out of college this good at containing the edge vs the run, somethin that i always rate very highly, and too many ppl do not

Don't get me wrong. Contrary to JDP111, I am hardly a know-it-all and I alway defer final judgement to BB and Pioli. If they feel he is the best value available when they pick and they chose him, I'll be all for it. I just won't be expecting him out there much unless he shows enough to allow Vrabel to move inside full-time, which I think would be a waste of his assets.

Woodley could end up being the next Rosie Colvin for the Pats. Which would be great. But it doesn't solve the issue at ILB. And that is my biggest concern considering that this could, very well, be Bruschi's last year.

Don't worry. I don't see it as that at all. You have a differing viewpoint. It happens. We cool.

I agree that the issue at ILB is more pressing. Which is why odds are that if the Pats select a Michigan player, it will be Harris. Which I am cool with. I just have to set aside my dreams of LaMarr as a Pat. Unless we get into round 2 somehow. Then, IT'S ON!

LOL! That's simular to myself. I've got post all over this board talking about Woodley as my favorite OLB for NE, fallowed by Spencer, then Bradley. Oh, and Woodley is good against the run, which is another reason I want him.
