Fresh surroundings and a chance at winning could put some new life into those legs.

I imagine the pats gave him a low-ball offer -- well, as low-ball as you can get for what is right now a has-been avging 2.7/carry this season -- and Johnson is shopping around to see if he can get more money with another contender. If not, Pats should bring him in cheap and give him a shot. If Taylor goes on IR it's a no-brainer IMO.

I haven't watched any Chiefs games this season, just something I noticed when I was looking at LJ's stats is that he doesn't have even one run over 20 yards on the season.

The Chiefs didn't cut him for money reasons. Hes a vet and they have to pay the rest of his salary this year. They cut him because hes terrible.

His issue isn't a lack of motivation. its a lack of speed and cutting ability. His legs are trash.

People have cited the other avgs of the rbs well most of those carries were when kc is already down siginfigantly and they run shotgun draw its easy to avg 5yds a clip going that route.

I'm obviously not suggesting that L.J. is in the same class as Moss, but he has shown that he's capable of putting up monster type numbers in the past, and KC's passing attack when he did doesn't begin to compare to NE's now. It seems like a pretty low risk medium reward proposition to me. If he sucks, drop him.

Randy Moss, at his worst, was a good #2 WR with about 600 yards receiving.

LJ is trash. He's got like the 5th worst per carry average in league history.


Watch some chiefs football. The line isn't good, but its not the problem. LJ's backup is getting 5 yards a carry.
