Colts | Klecko claimed off waivers
Sun, 3 Sep 2006 12:55:58 -0700

John Oehser, of Colts.com, reports the Indianapolis Colts have claimed free agent DL Dan Klecko (Patriots) off waivers.

Polian is still trying to get the Pats secrets.

Dan Kleko to Colts

Looks like Polian was reading the board when we said Kleko's best suited as a pass rushing 4-3 DT.

This is a plae where he could do well. I hope he does well except when they play the Pats.

As much as I hate the Colts, I hope Klecko sticks somewhere and ends up getting a larger role then he did here. He's your prototypical underdog, undersized, underskilled, but all heart.

Probably a good fit for him, with Dungy running the Tampa 2 and all. He can be brought in as a pass-rush specialist on obvious passing downs from the tackle or end positions, and just focus on shooting gaps and trying to kill the quarterback.

dexter reid was released by them though :p

I was hoping that the guy would land with a team where he could do well.

But, it's the friggin Colts! Now I can't wish him well.:enranged:

But Kory Chapman made the roster. Withhim, Klecko and AV, they've got 3 ex-Pats.. And I thought they only ended up on the Jets or the Browns.......

I've said for a while Polian is simply hell bent on getting every Ex Patriot he can.

riiiight:rolleyes:

The Colts were in the market for a cheerleader, I guess. No one is better. The way he holds his towel. The wrist manuevers to get the towel to wave just right. The enthusiasm with which he waves the towel. Fantastic!

Dan Klecko was a waste of time. Ciao, Danny boy.

Many teams want ex-Patriots. What they fail to grasp is they were ex-ed for a reason. If you fill out your roster with them that's fine as long as you understand we filled ours out with guys who beat them or represented far better value. :D

Poor Joe. First his son is drafted by his old divison rival the Patriots, then claimed on waivers by another old division rival the Colts. All he needs now is for Dan to play for the Bills and the Dolphins.

Dan will do very well there. Good for him.
