Emanuela Orlandi Was 'Kidnapped For Vatican Sex Parties,' Claims Father Gabriele Amorth

The Holy See was directly involved in the disappearance of 15-year-old Emanuela Orlandi in 1983, according to a contentious accusation by the Catholic Church's leading exorcist. The Rev. Gabriele Amorth claimed that the girl's kidnapping was a "crime of a sexual nature."

"Parties were organized, with a Vatican gendarme acting as the 'recruiter' of the girls," Amorth told La Stampa, according to a translation by The Telegraph. "The network involved diplomatic personnel from a foreign embassy to the Holy See. I believe Emanuela ended up a victim of this circle."

    If true....this is f-ing terrible

This is just a bizarre world where I'm thinking to myself "...from no lesser source than the chief exorcist himself..."

disgusting ... then again the most powerful people in the world have more than their share of sexual deviants in the use of children ... using their money and power to cover the crimes.

Perhaps this is why Bernard Law was sent to the Vatican, as he is an expert in cover-ups???....

These dudes need to closely examine how they do business... this happens far to often, and the coverups are as bad as the crime..

The informant of this information, carried out 70,000 exorcisms.. that is a lot of evil spirits out there roaming around... guess he is not part of a union, as this seems to be an unfair workload.

Over a 50 year period, that is about 4 per day.. that is a lot of exorcisms.

    A more salicious article..

Sounds like a case for Interpol. The Vatican will use its money and "statehood" status to protect themselves. Twenty years ago, this story would have freaked people out. Now, after all the crimes of the perverted leadership of the HRCC, it's just a sidenote. We have become desensitized to this behavior of the religious wackjobs and cults like the HRCC and now they have us right where they want us- exhausted and indifferent. Frogs legs. It is right to give Him thanks and praise. Thanks be to God. More incense please.

I have often wondered how many Affairs go on between Priests & Nuns world wide, what do they do if a Nun gets "knocked up"

Why would any man in his right man expect people to believe that by simply taking an oath he would never have another orgasm for as long as he lived, in my prime I couldn't go two days without one.

And here is where we get into the aiding and abetting aspect of this long-running and well-known crime spree. Every dime that's put into the basket or little offering envelopes is, in effect, a contribution to these crimes, IMO. I can never understand how my friends and family, who I love and admire, continue to take part in this mess, knowing full well that their money is being spent on defending these animals while their churches are being shut down and sold to condo developers. I know my mother's heart breaks, and she clings to her faith not knowing what else to do. My heart breaks for her as well because I know how much she suffers from this mental trap she finds herself caught in that has been set by the lies and sins of her priests. This one fact is what fuels my hatred and anger toward the HRCC.

You are an awfully angry, bitter person (and some would suggest that hating an entire religion is quite bigoted, but liberals can get away with that sort of thing). You know, there are professional counselors and therapists that can help you deal with those issues. All you end up doing is hurting yourself.

And they are compelled to continually violate the separation of church and state, they pyss and moan about culture and politics from the pulpit...

But if the Government says anything, knee jerk reaction #1 ensues.. you are violating free speech..

Meanwhile they are silent on issues like the rape of Bosnian Women, rape of Rwanda Women, slaughter in civil wars across the world, war, the Holocaust, civil rights etc. But do not masturbate, and do not have sex except for the procreation of children..

Do conservatives insist we condone child molestation because they are themselves molesters, they were themselves molested, or as so often happens, both?

As in the case with liberals w/anger issues, I believe there are psychoatrists who can help w/that

It's 76 and sunny here, btw... Time for a margarita

Um, just out of idle curiousity, where in the world are you seeing anyone in here, conservative or otherwise, condoning child molestation?

I see a lot of religious bigotry in this thread, but only being committed by liberals so the moderators won't do anything. But I don't see anyone condoning child molestation. BTW, you should be very careful about suggesting a conservative was molested as a child. You may very well end up upsetting someone very badly - but not necessarily the party you were hoping to upset.

Well aside from the typical liberal "guilty until proven innocent" mentality that we see so often (depending upon the politics of the accused that is), I'd say someone openly talking about their hatred for Catholicism counts as bigotry, wouldn't you? It would be like someone saying "I hate Judaism" which I would also consider a bigoted statement.

    Let's see here:

I am angered by the systematic rape of children and the following massive coverup committed by the "Holy" Roman Catholic Church.

You are angered by Obama being friends with a controversial preacher, by a government that spends too much money on poor people, by gay people trying to get married, etc., etc.

And your unsolicited response to my post- the only part of this thread that bothered you- is that I need therapy.

    Who's the sick one here?

Here's one for ya, jackass. Try reading this if your pious perv-sympathizer mind will let you:

    William Lynch Legal Defense Fund

The William Lynch Legal Defense Fund

Will is accused of beating a pedophile priest, previously investigated for murder, who molested, tortured and raped him and his brother 36 years ago when they were ages 4 & 7; forcing acts of incest, sodomy, oral copulation, strangulation; and threatening to kill them and their family if they ever told anyone.

Maybe you would rather contribute to a Priest pedofile defense fund instead and help defend one of hundreds of perverts...wierdo.

    No, silly boy!

Hatred for Catholics is bigoted. Hatred for the HRCC is not. The HRCC is an ancient, corrupt institution that is actually and literally a sovereign government, mega corporation and criminal organization.

Pubs no different when it comes to guilty v innocent.

    And it isn't bigotry.

If you don't think the church's track record in recent decades should cause people to doubt them, well, you're welcome to that opinion but I expect you'd be in the minority.

Finally, I didn't see anybody say they hate Catholicism or Catholics. Hating the church's leaders is analogous to hating extremist Muslims.

As am I. However, I don't lower myself to your level of hating an entire religion based on the actions of the few. Do you hate the National Educators Association also? Awful lot of child molestation going on within their ranks too.
Aside from trying to completely change the subject, now you're just making silly things up.
I'd say the same thing to anyone who lived their life with so much anger and hatred at an entire religion, representing almost 1 billion people worldwide.
You are (I thought I made that clear). But I wouldn't use the word "sick". I would rather say "someone needing help."
Good thing you're a liberal! Or else the moderators might actually enforce the rules of the forum against you! :bricks:
You're desperately trying to change the subject, but fact is that I have neither stated nor implied any support for child molestors or those who defend them. I simply refuse to hate an entire religion of roughly a billion people.

This subject sure does set you off for some reason.

Doubting them is fine. Hating an entire relgion? No so much.
Well then I suggest you reread post #8 where the individual admits anger and hatred towards Catholicism. Or post 22.

If I said I hate Judaism or I hate Islam, that would be bigoted. But I guess some religions are OK to hate.

He doesn't say he hates Catholicism or Catholics -- he says the church. In other posts he makes it clear he is referring to the institution -- the leadership.

Again: analogous to hating extremist Muslim leaders but not hating all Muslims or Islam.

Maybe you're just not sharp enough to know the difference between the terms "Catholicism", "Catholics" and "the HRCC". It takes a bit of mental flexibility and a more complex understanding and subtlety get it, so maybe that's why you don't.

For instance, you seem to have missed the crux of post #8 which you reference. It was about the confusion I have about the continued support my friends and family show to the HRCC. I never oppose their right or desire to practice Catholicism nor criticize any Catholic for simply being a Catholic. It's the political and corporate officers of the formal business organization (popes, bishops and priests along with their lawyers and political allies) that offend me and millions of good Catholics. An even more important point of my post which you pathetically missed is the emotional grief my mother is going through because of these subhuman scum and their protectors in the church structure. It's real and it's hard to witness, not to mention go through.

Your attempts at defending your perverts in the HRCC are disturbing and you are all too quick to attack those who criticize this filthy institution instead of responding to the initial subject of the thread. This isn't about me and you. It's about the kids who have been raped and tortured by the priests, bishops and popes over the centuries to this day. It's also about those who desperately need to find a way to keep their faith for whatever reason, but are finding it more difficult even as they approach the end of their lives. The one thing many people thought they were certain about seems to be a lie.

You don't get it. You're the angry troll who needs self-examination. Maybe a donation to the William Lynch Legal Defense Fund would prove how much you value the "innocent until proven guilty" slogan you throw around.

But it's the fact that you ignored the OP and came after me in this thread is what makes you a wierdo in need of therapy. Not me.

And only a dullard like yourself would consider me a "liberal". Classic inability to see things in any terms other than black-and-white. Which only reinforces my contention that you're incapable of complexity and subtlety. Explaining such concepts to you is an exercise in futility.
