If you read the Herald one would think that Brown is the second coming of christ, while in reality he is a brand new senator in a system that rewards longevity in a party that is not in control... time will tell, that is one of the reasons the incumbents have value as they usually have more power in the congressional process...

You know damn well why his win is being applauded and is significant in DC

But please, continue the Herald bashing

No Herald bashing, an off season victory in January makes great press right now... but it it is too early to assess its meaning in the long run.. when he aligns himself with the old guard in the senate, then will people will have short memories, he will get the beltway disease just like the rest of them. Hope for your sake he does not get the Michelle Bachman disease.

Kerry is also a former Skull & Bones member at Yale ala Bush and his father(and many other high level government leaders + William F. Buckley over the last 100 years or so).

Don't be fooled, they're ALL on the SAME team - Kerry was appointed the Democrat nomination in 2004 so that the elite bankers can keep his S&B comrade in the White House. Otherwise, Howard Dean would have walked away with the election.

Sure you weren't Herald bashing OK sure whatever you say

Drop the false ignorance and smoke and mirrors, you were reading and posting the last two weeks in multiple threads- you know damn well what his win means in DC especially in the Senate. You know what it does to the Democrats now and what it does to all future legislation this term.

Drop the ignorance act, it's not your best persona. Stick to the innocent victim act.

That is true if you really want to believe it... personally will maintain my skepticism, as many pols have gone to DC to change the world, and they get lost under the influence of power and the cash from K St... it is what it is, power corrupts..

I posted very little on this BTW, as I am a RI resident.. did post quite a bit about the love affair with Tookie, a 3 level sex offender who was convicted of 15 felonies.. other than that was steadfast in my contention was that Coakely was a mediocre campaign, who ran a shyttty campaign.. other than that have been pretty silent about this whole thing.. we will see the impact of the least senior senator in a minority party.

The national Republicans are gonna use this guy to make sure nothing gets done on Obama's watch and then kick him to the curb.
