Used CBS Sports Big Board.

A LOT OF TRADES IN THIS ONE! VERY INTERESTING OUTCOME! Again, trying out every possible scenario possible. More mocks from me to come.

Chiefs need to protect their newly acquired QB
2 - JAX: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Jags need a pass rusher.

7 - OAK: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
From Cardinals. Raiders replaced Tommy Kelly.
8 - BUF: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
They signed Kolb, but we all know he will end up a back up anyway. They get the best QB in the draft
9 - NYJ: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
Jets lost alot of defensive players. They take the best OLB on the board(hopefully he ends up like gholston)
10 - TEN: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama

14 - CAR: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Panthers need interior pass rush
15 - SF: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
TRADE- Niners trade #31,#61,#93, and 2014 6th to get their slot receiver. They have the picks to trade up.
16 - STL: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
Since Niners traded up ahead of them to grade Austin, the Rams decide to take the best Safety on the board.
17 - SD: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
TRADE- Chargers trade #23,#102,#110, and 2014 6th to Browns(acquired pick from Steelers) to get a needed upgrade to their interior line. If the line doesnt protect Rivers, he could be gone next season.
18 - DAL: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Cowboys lost out on Cooper from Chargers trading up ahead of them and Vaccaro so they upgrade their pass rush.
19 - NYG: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State

Indy gets an upgrade to their DE position in their new 3-4 defense

32 - BAL: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
They find Ray Lewis's replacement

PATRIOTS 7 Round Mock

*TRADE*(Patriots trade QB Ryan Mallett for #23 and #102)
23. Robert Woods WR USC
Patriots traded Ryan Mallett and drafted the best available WR on the board(CBS Sports)

*TRADE*(Cowboys traded #47,#80,#185, and 2014 5th for pick #29)
29. TRADED to Cowboys

47. Jonathan Cyprien SS Florida International
Adrian Wilson can mentor him and he will provide depth to the SS position.

59. Sio Moore OLB UCONN
Again, using CBS Big board. Patriots need depth at OLB and questions if Spikes will remain a Patriot after his rookie contract.

80. Da'Rick Rogers WR Tennessee Tech
Anybody else notice a trend with BB? Taking 2 players of the same position every draft? Well, he does it again, except with WR this time.

91. Logan Ryan CB Rutgers
Patriots need depth at CB since we dont know if Talib can stay healthy and not knowing what is going to happen to Dennard. Either way, we still need solid depth at this position.

185. Oday Aboushi OG Virginia
Patriots add depth to their interior offensive line.

226. Brandon Jenkins DE Florida State
Patriots need depth at DE.

235. Jeff Tuel QB Washington State
Since they traded Mallett, they need another QB project. This will not be TFB's replacement.

I really like this draft, be thrilled if it happened this way. IF the Steelers match, I can definitely see the Pats drafting 2 receivers, and I love the 2 receivers you picked for us. Especially Rogers, I think he would give us something we haven't had in a long time, a BIG, tough possession receiver. He also has the ability to get deep.

Mallet netting us a first round pick? Dream on.

I like Sio Moore late in the 2nd if other top OLBs are gone and we don't have a 3rd rounder. I would be ecstatic if Brandon Jenkins is around in the 6th round. I still find it weird that Tank Carradine and Bjoern Werner are considered so much better than him.

You draftniks are obtuse, and hopeless. At this stage of the team rebuilding, the Pats don't need numbers, they need another frontline player or two. That is what Belichick did last season, while astounding you, and likely what he would be willing to do this season, too. I would predict that, except the BB doesn't have the picks to move up from 29, so 29 is where he will remain.

Why are you clowns so anxious to trade Ryan Mallett? You couldn't replace him with anything less than an early First Rounder, so why do it? You have a 36 year old QB, who at that age is more subject to injury. Plus despite the sacrilege, the end is drawing closer for TB.

The team is always drafting near the tail end of the round, so if they decided they needed a replacement, it would usually take a pair of Firsts to move up into the Top Five to draft a starting QB candidate. Just look at it, as a potential draft coup for perspicacious BB, and acquiring him in the early Third round. Potentially another QB acquisition at a great price, like the lucky Sixth rounder.

If Brady goes down then what? Trade for a nobody like Kolb, or just crap in your pants and let the season slip away? BB is smarter than that.

As time goes on, Mallett is demonstrating that the criticism of his character was mostly pre-draft, malicious dreck, and unfounded character assasination. No one ever criticised his athletic ability, save for being a non-runner, which BB doesn't care a wit about. That leaves him then, as a good sized, rocket arm, First Round QB, a coach's son, and avid film room buff, who BB may preping to be the TB successor. But he has to start to show it on the field. Mallett likely stays here at least for this season.

Besides what would you draft with your mythical, extra 4th, 5th or 6th round picks? Some unknown bum from East Okeefenoke U who, although too small, and too slow, is sure to be a superstar, but only in your fevered imagination, or perhaps in the Arena League.

or maybe we understand that the players at 45-50 arent too much different from 29 so trading down obtains more picks who do you specifically want at 29 that we should get there i would rather trade down and get short, carradine, taylor, banks and maybe hankins in the mid second and get another 3rd or 4th to build depth at WR, CB, DE etc.

If Brady goes down and mallet starts the season is already over.

Excellent points re: Mallett. He is incredibly valuable to the Pats for the reasons you cite.

You don't like "drafniks" do you. Just to address one point:

Besides what would you draft with your mythical, extra 4th, 5th or 6th round picks? Some unknown bum from East Okeefenoke U .........

Or maybe a QB from Michigan. Or a CB from Nebraska.......

1. You're vastly overrating what Mallett would net us in a trade. It certainly wouldn't be a first rounder.

2. I would be happy with Woods and Moore. Outside of that, meh.
