If we re-sign Light, we will be in fine shape at OT with Light and Vollmer as starters. Dante can choose from Ojinnaka, LeVoir, Kaczur and Maneri for his backups.

Adequate LT's are hard to find. Let's re-sign Light.

There are some bad left tackles starting in this league, which is why I can see another team offering him a decent contract. The Patriots might want him back, but another team could outbid them....

thats my fear... because i think the pats would stupid not to resign him... but once again not for top 5 LT money

A good solid high end (not elite) contract is what the team should pay and what he is worth

I see no reason not to offer him the same salary he was making this year ($4.5M) over the next 2-3 years.

I'm with you, but someone will offer more than that. Atleast that's my fear.

I've been saying this for a while now. They could still get another OT in the draft to ease into the lineup over the next couple years.

There may be teams that would offer him more money. I think he stays at this point if they they make him a reasonable offer.

Are suggesting that a reasopnable offer is less that the offer made by several other teams, that is, less than market?

Re-sign Light. Sign Mankins. Concentrate your O-Line draft picks on RG and maybe C.
