I just discovered the "Palladia" channel on my Cox cable lineup. Not sure how long it's been there though I don't think it's been too long. This is a great channel ... I strongly recommend it. Seems geared more towards the artists and concerts.

Tonight it was the Iron Maiden tour movie ... some concert clips ... Pink Floyd concert in Gadansk ... I hope it's concerts every night. Reminds me of a radio channel ... back in the day I used to make cassette tapes of it ... "King Bisquit Flour Hour" ... was always a great concert.

It's doing the music portions that used to aired on and produced for its sister stations VH1, MTV, and CMT as they air more and more and more reality shows...

It's been on the air for nearly four years, used to be called "MHD"

They had an incredible Elvis Costello concert on the other night. The concerts look and sound great in hi def.

Yup ... I'm no Iron Maiden fan ... I admire what they do. So I'm like I'll watch a few minutes and I watch like the entire 2 hours. Lots of concerts it seems ... I like that. That's why I used to tape all the King Biscuit's ... all live concerts. I had music in my car nobody else had. I love live music ... studio stuff is fine but live music ... especially in high def ... is the best.

David Bowie from the 70's ... that's classic ... he was gawd-like back then.

The KT Tunstall concert they've been playing is really good. What a talented young Scottish Lass. Very cute as well. ;)

Yeah, I saw that, I'm hoping there will be a full length DVD of the show - these Palladia shows often end up that way. I thought the song selection could have been improved a little, I had no need to see "Undisclosed Desires" and I've had about enough of them playing "Feeling Good" live. But it was a good show.

As a Muse "newbie" I was very impressed with most of the songs they did and their light show and stage presence was very very impressive.

They're a great band. This was actually somewhat of a laid back appearance, believe it or not.

Check out the H.A.A.R.P. DVD (there's many clips on youtube) if you want to see them at their over the top best; even entering the stage by rising up through the floor. In fact a long time Muse fan commented that Matt (the singer) was a little cautious and nervous as this was their first show in their hometown.

Believe me, my "negative" comments are really a reflection on how phenomenal they are. The setlist was fine but the H.A.A.R.P. setlist is mind blowing.

Couple of links for you :

First is the Italian show that made Muse lip synch. So they all switched instruments. The bassist is on guitar, the singer/lead guitarist is on drums and the drummer is singing/plaing bass.

YouTube - Muse Made To Lip Sync Uprising

Second is the aformentioned intro to H.A.A.R.P.

(it continues into the first track here : YouTube - Knights Of Cydonia: Live At Wembley Stadium 2007)

    Damn, I love Muse.

One more, my favorite of theirs :

Gotta get that DVD of JB, btw he is going to tour with Clapton. The Goodbye Pork Pie Hat and Brush with the Blues from that concert is amazing too, they show R Plant in the audience.

Check out the Winwood/Clapton stuff from the Croosroad festival on youtube :D
