So now PatsFans.Com is offering free ad space to poltical parties?
The Truth Shall Set You Free
As usual your comment is made to distract from the substance. Saul Alinsky taught you well.
There is no "substance" to any black background graphic which resorts to a skull and crossbones and uses cave-man grunt language.
It is a poltical ad, pure and simple and, as such, does not belong here.
Is it true?
And you do not understand Saul Alinsky.. Herr Rove has praised Alinksy and uses many of his practices and his principles..
A more salient reminder from Florida Newspapers..
Are they "left wing media".......
Not particularily, no.
For instance - it says anyone planning on retiring in the next 10 years is safe.....but that's only true for those planning on waiting until 65 to retire. I'm sure there are millions of people who are 55 years old now who were planning on retiring at 60 or 62. Ryan's plan only claims to protect those 55 years old or older - it has nothing to do with when they retire.
The proposed Medicare insolvancy is dependant on multiple things. 12 years is the projected date if nothing changes.....and it will not be "broke," it will only be able to pay 87% of costs rather than the 100% it now pays.

They also neglect to mention that the main reason for the rapidly approaching insolvency was the Prescription Plan put into effect in 2003 by the Bush administration...which Ryan voted for and Biden voted against.
You're confusing Medicare with social security. Medicare kicks in at 65.
Medicare is already the worst payer. Cutting it down further will accelerate hospital closures and reduced access.
The reality that people over 55 aren't affected by the Ryan plan vs the mediscare propaganda being feed to current retirees that they would lose their medicare under the Ryan plan.
IOW the lie being told by the Obama campaign and his spokespersons the past couple of days.
You're right...sorry. My mistake.
Any idea of what happens to people who become disabled before 65? Disabled people on SS can begin receiving Medicare benefits - I wonder how they would be affected by the Ryan Plan?
No, the uninsured are the worst payers.
Get rid of it and the closures and reduced access will happen even quicker.

I will take your response to mean that it is within the rules of PatsFan.Com to reproduce political ads and propoganda.
Good to know...thank you.
It's also okay to use racial slurs, just as long as the moderator doesn't find them personally offensive.
Being on medicare and living around a lot of older folks, any changes to medicare scares the hell out of us/them.
The whole prescription benefit engineered by Bush et al, left us with the "donut hole".. which is slowly closing by 2019. A lot of folks I know are only on social security and live on around $1500 per/month.. if they are on expensive heart medication or cancer medication, they have difficult choices to make.. food, rent, heat or medication..
FY the average Social Security Benefit is $1234 per month.. not a lot.
When you are in the "donut hole" you have to pay 7% of the cost of the prescription, which in itself is very scary.. I take on heart med that costs over $700 per/month.. so I also have to make the choice.
The reality is that any change is very scary to older folks, as much as they do not like the current prescription benefit, any change is viewed with extreme prejudice.
This is the political forum, Mrs. Obviously it is appropriate to discuss politics in here, Mrs.
interesting how the American People feel about Ryan's plan...

Doing nothing more than posting an ad without any added commentary is hardly "discussing."
