Thought I'd take a stab at it. So I did, and magically had 53 names left, without checking. :D

Reserve/DNR, or traded - Samuel (who?)

PRSQ - Mays, Gutierrez, Lua, Hairston, Elgin, Oldenburg, Baugher, Barthelmes (assuming all are able to get through waivers, of course)

SHDW: Mitchell, Spann, Hilliard, Q. Hill, Childress, Kight, Mruczkowski, Britt, S. Thomas, Baker

OTHER CUTS: Q. Smith, C.J. Jones, Dunlap, Kranchick, West, K. Smith, Moore, Nordin, Anam, G. Williams, Malone

Bold:: My binkies. ;)

Can a "who's your binkie" thread be far behind. BTW, I think that you might put Rogers in bold.

SOME COMMENTS
1) I prefer Mays to Rogers.
2) I strongly prefer 9 OL's. Britt will be picked up before making the Practice Squad. I would keep Britt instead of Richardson.
3) Mitchell should have a strong shot to beat out Andrews. Perhaps Richardon will also.
4) I have Washington as the favorite for the #5 WR spot

BOTTOM LINE
5)We are left with two competitive roster spots instead of one
5th WR: Washington/Gaffney/Brown
10th DB: Mitchell/Andrews/Richardson
6) I would add that a 6th WR COULD beat out Mills for a roster spot
7) We agree on 51 roster spots

Solid choices.

I would say Brown will be on PUP or just not signed until needed during the year. I agree Washington has an edge on Gaffney, so as long as he doesn't blow it he can make it as the #5.

Childress will be cut this year for sure. He didn't make the 53-man last year (only for a few games) when there was little WR depth so he would have to do something really special to make the team this year.

The Rogers vs Mays battle will be predicated on if AD is playing more outside or inside.

Looks good. You may have problems if Lua and Oldenburg look outstanding in pre-season, or if Chad Jackson is healthy enough to practice in TC.

On the other hand, those would be good problems for any Pats fan to address.
