Interesting, the concerns that were initially raised have been blocked by the Federal District Court..

Of course Matt Drudge wants you to believe that the whole law has been struck down..

This Judge was initially recomended by John Kyl.. interesting.

Re: Judge Recommended by John Kyl, blocks part of Az. Immigration law

I'm not surprised at all; I think we all expected this would have a long go of it looking at the constitutionality of state versus federal rights.

This will ultimately make its way into the supreme court. I'd say that's not a bad thing in the long run. It will be thrust to the forefront as a topical issue, and the legal citizens of this country can voice their displeasure with Amnesty pimping politicians. This issue is indeed "toxic" to those who pimp Amnesty.

Nothing has been deemed unconstitutional. This is only an injunction against specific portions, or language of the law. This will eventually see its way to the Supreme Court, at which point they will either decide to hear the case, or not. This is merely the beginning of the legal process. The longer this lingers, and more upset I think the population will get over it.

M Levin pretty much tore holes in the decision and the basis (actually lack thereof) he said he would post a comment on the Corner blog at NAtional Review I will link it rather than give a poor rendering of his critique

Judicial decisions are based on the constitution and previous rulings.. do not be naive. They are not subjective decisions based on polls...

But we will see in the future..

In reality the population does not have a lot to do with it, they can become upset, but the constitution/law dictates...

It's going to end up in the Supreme Court anyways. I think Arizona has a decent chance of having the law upheld there.

Now if only the Federal government would pay out punitive damages to the taxpayers affected by their negligence in enforcement!

To bad this didn't pass, I got a few questions for everyone!

How many white ppl do you see jumping the boarder?
How many black ppl do you see jumping the boarder?
How many Chinese ppl do you see jumping the boarder?

We know Mexicans are the only ones jumping, its not rasict and its not profiling if you fit the description.

Two wrongs don't make a right and its time the Mexican ppl start to PAY TAXES and give like the rest of us have too. I don't care if you want to come here, just RESPECT IT and RESPECT OUR PPL.

P.S If anyone has a photo or video of black or white or Chinese ppl jumping over plz post it!:rocker:

Since Spain took that land and intermingled with the Mayans.
    Now they are Mexican. :)
