US District Judge Vaughan Walker, appointed by George in 2004.. believes in the constitution..

Interesting decision, that will certainly work its way up the appeals process.. is this an activist court decision??? Or is that only done by a Clinton appointed judge.. inquiring minds want to know...

This is the program that drove liberals absolutely crazy under Bush about how he shredded the Constitution, but they never utter a peep while their saviour Obama not only kept it in place, but still fights to keep, right?

They stopped yapping about the wars and Gitmo the very day Prince Charming was Coronated, "Get Bush" thats all they wanted, Bush was no bargain but he humiliated them TWICE by beating those two Goof Balls (Gore/Kerry) and that drove them nuts, they still can't get over it.

Muslim Terrorists will strike again it's getting hotter every day, the NYPD knows it the NY Subways look like a War Zone, Obama knows it too thats why he keeps much of the Bush Policys in place..........

Liberals Live In Their Own Little Nasty Hateful Dream World.

I don't recall tea partiers crying about warrantless wiretapping, even though they scream at the top of the lungs about the constitution all the time.

They know it's helping to keep them safe, as the Frisco Hippies used to say "some laws have to be broken"

I haven't heard this administration crying about it either. Harry's correct to a degree about the left looking the other way on several things that continue on today. Do a search under "drilling" and see what tone of the board was when McCain was pushing for it vs. now. Go back and do searches on the Patriot act and soldier behavior. Go back and you'll see that even Afghanistan was a lost cause.

Phocus, here's the deal. The left is right(how's that for a slogan?) about some and maybe manythings but they're not right about everything. I know it seems like if you "Phocus" on talking points against the right then that your side stands way above them. This is a lesson an old boss gave me a long time ago. He said if you want to have the tallest building then build it. The strategy isn't to knock everyones elses down so yours is the tallest left standing.

If the wire taps lead to some arrest of potential radical Islamic terrorists, I support it. I guess some forget we're in a WAR ON TERROR.

The gov't is supposed to possess some technology that keys off the words, "president, bomb and Allah" if spoken over the phone or typed on the internet....

"president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah"..."president, bomb and Allah":singing:

How do you know they are not using the FISA Court, by going there it is usually a slam dunk.. this one step keeps the Gov't within consitutional boundaries..

Took the words out of my mouth.

I don't think judges are always appointed to be in political agreement.

I don't think President's and their administrations always follow the law either ... and they know it.

I think its safe to say that most things approved by the OLC during the Bush years were super illegal, and unconstitutional.

Problem now is that we seem to have a Justice department that could give a $#!t about looking back at prosecution.

I poke around a bit and I think you investigate these things more than I do and neither of us know. The way politics are today you'd think that would be a badge of honor to be bragging about and something to throw in Bush's face.

If a judge that was appointed by Clinton had made this decision, would a discussion been about the "Activist Court" dictating policy.. instead it is about the Constitution, which usually trumps everything.
