You'd figure he could do better than her. She's gross. Anyhow, it's the Enquirer for whatever it's worth.

SEN. JOHN EDWARDS CAUGHT WITH MISTRESS AND LOVE CHILD!

Vice Presidential candidate Sen. John Edwards was caught visiting his mistress and secret love child at 2:40 this morning in a Los Angeles hotel by the NATIONAL ENQUIRER.

The married ex-senator from North Carolina - whose wife Elizabeth continues to battle cancer -- met with his mistress, blonde divorcée Rielle Hunter, at the Beverly Hilton on Monday night, July 21 - and the NATIONAL ENQUIRER was there! He didn't leave until early the next morning.

Rielle had driven to Los Angeles from Santa Barbara with a male friend for the rendezvous with Edwards. The former senator attended a press event Monday afternoon with L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa on the topic of how to combat homelessness.

But a months-long NATIONAL ENQUIRER investigation had yielded information that Rielle and Edwards, 54, had arranged to secretly meet afterward and for the ex-senator to spend some time with both his mistress and the love child who he refuses to publicly acknowledge as his own.

See previous threads on Vitter, Craig and so on. Edward's was being mentioned as a potential veep candidate this could affect his viability as a VP candidate (don't think BO was going there.

Feel bad for his wife and kids..

You are aware of the source, right?

"For what its worth", it wasn't worth the finger work to post.

If the source was reliable, then I'd understand. But the National Enquirer? They just make sh1t up. Why would anyone here even be reading the National Enquirer....THAT is the more important question.

In all honesty, this isn't even a story worth discussing unless it shows up in a REAL news outlet. As far as I'm concerned, he's been perfectly honest with his wife and hasn't cheated. Have I read the story? NOPE! That's because no matter what is says, IT DOESN'T MATTER.

    The National Enquirer
When you read one of their "people story's" 90% of the time two or three weeks later you will read and hear the exact same story in The MSM, remember what I say, in couple of you weeks you very well may be hearing this from Cute Perky Katie and if Chris Matthews can stop washing Obama's Balls for ten minutes you may even hear him mention it and of course it is very possible that it may be another "flying saucer story"

    TIME WILL TELL

    GOD DAMN AMERICA

But the flying saucer story is true! They had former Air Force officers testifying before the nation.

Harry, it is an accepted fact that the National Enquirer is a piece of crap read by old ladies who love gossip. I don't know one person who reads it...or is at least willing to admit they do!:D

The National Enquirer publishes lies as their main strategy. If you asked them, they would say, "It's what we do"

And don't even think of comparing ANY mainstream newspaper to the NE. If a friend of mine told me he read that piece of sh1t, I'd laugh at him. It's paper for feeble minds.

The fact that you posted a story with the NE as the source is quite telling.

Dude, I don't read the National Enquirer. This is a political forum, and before you ever posted in here, Edwards, and this story, were repeatedly discussed. I posted it cuz the NE claims to have cornered him this time, and Edwards has been discussed as a VP candidate.

You could be right, the only time I see one is in the supermarket but they have broken story's that people laughed at then three weeks later Dan Rather was reporting it, but we will see.

This was one of their headlines that I always remembered,
    "BOY SEES WITH HIS EARS"

Ok, dude...relax. You don't "read" the National Enquirer (for some reason), yet you post this story...what's wrong with that logic...dude?

    Who owns the National Enquirer?

Maybe you should have put the name 'National Enquirer' in you headline. Currently, it reads like its breaking news.
