Jimmy Graham is confused

The best team in football over the past two seasons combined was Seattle.

The best team in football over the last 4 seasons combined has been NE.

Is Maxwell really that good? If Williams plays like he did in Baltimore he is as good.

Maxwell is ok. Browner´s level probably. But Cary Williams was terrible.

While we disagree with his opinion, it's not stupid. My point is no stronger than that.

Also, Gronk isn't a huge ****y.

Lol, Graham really is soft! Look at him run away from Kam and Earl.

I wonder if there was a clock management aspect to that sudden change of direction. Does anyone know if he was trying to stop the clock to save a timeout at the end of the half or game? If not, that is funny.

"So for me it was a moment of shock, but once that shock cleared, I realized that I was going to the best team in football."

Someone tell this dumbass that the best team is in New England and we wouldn't want him because we already have the best tight end and he can actually block too.

In all fairness, what is Graham (or for that matter any coach or player) supposed to say when they go to a new team?

"I'm so happy to be with the second best team in the league"?

"This was my third choice all along"?

"Team X isn't the Patriots, but this will do"?

Best team in football over the last 15 seasons has been New England. And unless Graham has signed a one year contract, the importance of being the best for a long time matters.

He wanted no part of Kam Chancellor. Period.

What? Who cares? What else is he going to say? The Hawks are really good. With Graham they're better. He's excited. Let him be excited. WTF?
Agreed. Honks gunna honk, though.

IR'd Gronkowski > Graham

Fine, keep him in the NFC. Gronk's better, but Gronk doesn't cover the opposing tight end. Doesn't cancel him out. You know exactly what's in Carroll's mind - my short QB can now throw in the red zone without that Butler pick happening d%#*!@t.

Still early in free agency. Big names are going elsewhere. This is familiar, and doesn't really panic me. Now that Revis is gone, I'm back in "In Bill We Trust" mode. What we can do on D has changed. We'll see how it comes together as the offseason progresses. So far it looks like emphasis on front seven, barring some incredible step up in the secondary.

Would love to see Butler emerge - that's on my "wouldn't it be cool if..." thoughts.

As for the Seahawks, we'll see how they are next year. The skill players are looking good, the line is weaker, ho-hum. In terms of pointing fingers about what happened in FA... so far we're sort of living in a glass house from that POV. Of course, we always are at this point in the off-season. OMG everybody looks 10 feet tall... but somehow, we're always there at/near the end.

My NOLA Nephew is a 50% Pats fan and a 50% Saints fan.. when he heard the news about Graham he threw away his Saints gear, to the dismay of my sister in law.

Now he is a 100% Pats Fan and to celebrate went out to "Job Lot" and bought him a couple of "Gronk Nation" T-Shirts to help replenish his wardrobe..

I wonder how Graham will feel when he realize that he went from a high powered passing offense to a ball control, run first offense. He should be a top TE there, but he is going to see his production drop quite a bit.

They are going for the Joe Flacco "Jump Ball Joe" look. Tall WR/TE and a power running game is a recipe for success in this league. I imagine that Petey had some serious Viagra-like moments in the SB seeing how Kearse and Mathews worked the smurfs.

Wasn't julius thomas available too? What's the difference? A couple of overgrown receivers. We got one in Chandler, but he won't break the bank... And despite varied reports on his blocking, he isn't a ****y, as a previous poster so accurately described Graham.

He isn't allowed to dunk anymore, so anything that was special about him is now gone. (Let's be honest, even that wasn't special)

Haha, reminds me of the time I was driving at a guy in the corner in a hockey game, before I hit him he literally left the puck and went the other way. Only two times I've ever seen that.
