Arizona and Jets also put in waiver claims for former Patriots WR Brandon Tate, who was awarded to Cincinnati.

And Jets fans complain that the Pats steal all their former players/PS players.

Well, they'll need somebody for when 73-year-old Plaxico gets hurt.

Perhaps they were in search of a week 5 team captain.

Jets have one of the best KR team in NFL. They made Leon Washington a pro bowler and made Brad Smith look like Devon Hester. Tate would have done some damage.

Tate has been an awful kick returner. Rex just playing games or was looking for an O'Connell type informant.

Different positions. Age is a huge factor at RB, big factor at WR and CB. Age is a minimal factor at QB, OL, P and K.

Uh, QB is a bit different than WR when it comes to age. Many QB's play into their late 30's, some even hit 40 as we've seen.

Just like RB's usually don't last too long past 30 in most cases.

    Ironically they just claimed OConnell.

As we have noiticed all off season and Jets fans have denied, the Jets have absolutely no depth. They claimed 4 guys off waivers to add to their 53, and thats what they got in the 29th waiver spot. God know how many they tried for.
They are one brutal game away from mired in mediocrity.

Brady doesn't have to do repeat sprints for 60 minutes every week.

When you have an inferiority complex about another team, this happens.

    Disable Jersey

I like to bag on the Jets as much as the next guy (Unless the next guy happens to be Joker or Tunescribe), but the Patriots and Jets have been poaching each others players for a long, long time.
