There is nothing good about celebrating an injury... even to a Jets player.

I'm not celebrating but there is something poetic about it. Maybe he will be humbled a little.

I can't and won't celebrate injuries. Perhaps it's my former involvement with people at the elite level of their chosen sport. I just can't do it (even if they are Jets players).

Jerry Sandusky on the other hand.. a plague on his house.

How will the Jets know when they get a first down now?

wow, I know they are 2-2 and still technically in first place (division record), but they are heading nowhere fast.

Doesn't really matter, most likely. By the time he comes back, they'll be pretty far outside of the playoff chase. Hopefully he comes back healthy ASAP, and it's not like he's a huge threat anyway. He's probably the most overrated WR in the NFL.

This could be a Terry Glenn moment for the Jets.

So, the team's on the hook if he can't play next year. Cut, not cut, whatever, he's got $7.5 million coming to him next season.

Even with a turd like Santonio, I cannot celebrate a serious injury. I hope he has a speedy recovery.
