You mean that NY media that pimps your team 95% of the time?
You can't be serious? The NY media? LOL, no, this isn't even close.
So your answer to the Jets WRs whining is that you make up that Moss did (never, ever happened. his only comments ever were about $) and you think Ocho would even though he isn't?
Other teams players are not divisive like the Jets. Deal with it, thats the team you have willingly assembled.
I don't agree with the Jets WR's talking, if that is the case, but it's rather customary for WR's to be talking, it's what they do, the Moss reference just supports this notion, and I find it funny that since Pats fans had no problems with Moss, they are knocking the Jets WR's.
Huh? You have 2 players on offense that are good and young, and 2 on defense.
2 on offense and defense, huh? LOL, oh, ok.
Rhetorical BS. Your team is declining. Winning some playoff games after sneaking in with a 6th seed isn't a lumbering dynastic juggernaut. You got those by selling out the future, and its coming home to roost now.
Nice spin, you Pats fans can sure the hell spin their way out of an argument.
The struggles this year have NOTHING to do with a "declining" football team. The Pats are a hell of a lot closer to declining due to the age of their most important players than the Jets are.
Actually its dead on. Look at your OL. Are you really going to tell me there is depth there? WR? no RB? no QB? no
Defensively you had to go get Aaron Maybin who the Bills cut then you cut, because you have no depth and now Thomas is out. There is zero depth at DL, OLB, ILB and the secondary depth is nothing to get excited about.
Your team doesnt just lack depth, it lacks depth at virtually every position.
It's not dead on, it's not even close. The core of our OL is 27 years old, Mason is a one year solution at WR until Kerley is ready. Burress is a 1-2 year replacement for Edwards, Holmes was just given his contract and is 27. Jets have two young RB's they like in McKnight and Powell, both draft picks, both who showed some promise in the pre-season. The Maybin pick-up was actually in training camp, and it was to help address their pass rush, who the hell cares when he was picked-up. How many players did the Pats pick up at the end of camp and during the season? Does that mean the Pats lack depth?
It had to be hard to type that. Your #3 corner is a bust. Your top 2 RBs are medicore and their is nothing behind them, and your OL fell apart with 1 injury. I think its very fair to say the Jets have the worst backup OL in the NFL.
Our #3 corner is a bust? Based on what? Wilson has sure as hell looked a lot better than McCourty has this year and that impressive #32 ranked NFL defense.
You are kidding right? In 4 weeks that have been the top 4 passing weeks in NFL history your starting WRs have 13 and 10 catches, ranking them 79th and 107th in the NFL.
Wes Welker has 14% more receptions that YOUR TOP 3 WRS COMBINED. That is not pretty damn good, it is pathetic.
The luxury of having a Tom Brady leading the offense, and a healthy OL.
Signing bust Maybin off the street cutting him then bringing him back is testament to your lack of depth. You may not have a true NFL caliber player (other than special teams grade) at LB other than Scott, Pace and Harris. And thats not even close to an exaggeration.
Again, who the hell cares how he is on the roster, half of the Patriot secondary was brought off the street, including your starting RG. So much for that Patriot depth, huh? Does it work both ways?
Wrong again. How have the Jets done in the phyiscal part of the game this year, running and stopping the run?
They've sucked because of injuries on their OL, already covered, that doesn't change the fact they are a physical football team.
Pats and Jets have played a similar schedule
Oakland Oakland
SD Baltimore
Buffalo Dallas
Miami Jax
Those teams are going to end up with about the same records as each other.
Difference is we win 75% of our games you win 50%.
I'm fine if we get to the end of the season and you whine that we were 12 and 4 vs cupcakes and you were 8 and 8 vs a brutal schedule.
But by then you'll be blaming it all on injuries.
LOL, Dallas > Buffalo, I don't care what their record is right now, that will balance itself out. Baltimore >>>> Chargers Jax >> Miami
It hasn't been the same schedule. Jets also had to play Baltimore in Baltimore, while the Pats got the Chargers at home.
Could be, if its not a great game we all know which direction it will go.[/QUOTE]
