Jets-Week Practice #1: Early Attendance Report

From numerous twitter sources (Reiss, Price, Howe, etc...), it looks like everyone but Pryor and Cunningham are at a full-pads practice and Woodhead's no contact jersey is off.

Now to get those two DLmen healthy.

Full practice report comes this afternoon.

Including Hernandez? Sweet

Re: Jets-Week Practice #1: Early Attendance Report

Good news, generally - glad to see our offensive weapons at full strength (Woody, Hernandez, Branch are back and seemingly OK)....we really need Pryor and Cunningham. Especially Cunningham, given how well he played last time around vs. this team.

This is pure conjecture on my part and maybe unfair conjecture, but the rook may not have learned yet how to practice through pain at this point, based on his early track record. Just think back to TC when he missed the last few weeks but stepped right in and looked A-OK.

The good news from that is he plays well without attending every practice. The bad news is it seems he wants to be near 100% to partake in practice.

Awesome, if Cunningham becomes ready then I'll really be happy.

Great news. Hernandez will be a great help on Sunday. The Jest can't cover both TEs and Welker/Branch without giving something up right?

Right! The problem with Revis Island is that if you get too many people on it then they start building nice camps, living off the land, and generally enjoying themselves.

Good news overall. On Pryor news, maybe that's why I read somewhere that Ellison's locker was still in tact. It would be a plus to get Pryor back so he can play sub packages and Warren, Wilfork are fresh for run downs.

that was great.

Good news on Connolly too! Now the Jests need to worry about kickoffs that much more!

Re: Jets-Week Practice #1: Early Attendance Report

Great news on Hernandez. Also relieved to see Moore return as he has been flying under the radar a bit and can do some of the same things as Cunningham.

Re: Jets-Week Practice #1: Early Attendance Report

Did Pryor miss practice last week?

Really need to get Cunningham and Pryor back. Need all available hands on deck for this one

Danny Woodhead, Dan Koppen Cleared for Contact, Aaron Hernandez Returns to Practice - Jeff Howe - NESN.com
Patriots running back Danny Woodhead has been cleared for contact and shed his red jersey during Tuesday's practice, which was held in full pads.

Woodhead suffered a concussion during the regular-season finale against the Dolphins, and he participated in both of New England's practices last week. However, he was not cleared for contact.

Center Dan Koppen, who wore a non-contact jersey last week for unspecified reasons, also shed the red jersey Tuesday.

Tight end Aaron Hernandez, right tackle Sebastian Vollmer and defensive lineman Eric Moore practiced Tuesday after missing last Thursday's session.

Linebacker Jermaine Cunningham (calf) and defensive lineman Myron Pryor were the only two players missing Tuesday. Cunningham missed both practices last week, but Pryor, who has been dealing with a back injury for much of the season, was present for each session.

It Is What It Is - Pats practice: Danny Woodhead cleared for contact, Myron Pryor and Jermaine Cunningham miss
Defensive lineman Myron Pryor and linebacker Jermaine Cunningham were the only players missing from the start of Patriots practice as the team began on-field preparations for the Jets this Sunday in the AFC Divisional playoff at Gillette Stadium.

Pryor has been nursing a back injury while Cunningham is dealing with a calf problem. But the good news for the Patriots was the clearance of Danny Woodhead (concussion) and Dan Koppen to full contact practice. Aaron Hernandez, who missed the last two games with a hip injury, was on hand as well and cleared for contact.

That sucks that Woody had an actual concussion. I hope he doesn't run into issues with further head injuries. I'm glad to see him back though!
