Jets lie about permission

Well to bad the NFL already found nothing wronmg with what we did. This is old news

Which makes no sense at all since they did exactly what the Patriots did. And now they've lied about having been given permission.

1) Either Goodell lied about it being a long standing rule
2) Goodell is protecting the NFL by making a scapegoat of the Patriots
3) Goodell doesn't want to embarrass the team that gave him his first NFL job.

Take your pick.
