kinda reminds me of my dad, he didn't die due to celebrating, but he was jumping up and down so much when steve garvey hit a hr off lee smith (padres vs cubs 1984 nlcs) that he blew out his knee....sometimes adrenaline takes over, in this guy's case, drinking contributed to jubilation, and a bad decision was made.

God Damn Jets get another one. THIS is EXACTLY why the Jets are NOT supposed to win. Secret service better keep in eye out, now that some people know the Jets can actually beat the Patriots AT HOME in the PLAYOFFS, they think anything is possible. lol

    But seriously, RIP.:)

At least he died happy? Stupid Jets. If they win it would be a sign of the Apocalypse. Therefore their run will end in Pittsburgh next week.

So does this mean the Jests are bringing the sled to the coin toss for inspiration?

"A police source said it is believed he had been drinking while watching the game."

    No kidding.

When I saw the headline I thought maybe he had fallen from his roof doing that airplane thing.

    Anyway, sad.

If they lose in either the AFCCG or the SB, the streets of Manhattan and Hudson will be full of Jumpin' Jets fans.

    Did he have young kids?

As I get older, it's the first thing I ask when I hear people die tragically. For adults, dying is a part of life and sometimes it happens, it's tough on kids though, tough for their whole situation.

I know why people drink but often too many people are too senseless about it. Too bad for the guy's family.

Too bad for the person driving the car. At fault or not it's a horrible thing to live with.
