Jets are showing interest in Lawfirm

Jets also maybe going after Tebow ... if they do I do not see BJGE and Tebow on the same team.

I can't imagine a greater morality/ethics/culture clash than Tebow with the Green Beans.

I keep going back to Tebow being a virgin and Wrecks farming his wife out to strangers on Internet fetish sites hoping to "see her take it in all three holes." How would those two ever relate to one another on ANY level?

Again...do the sociological template....19 kids by nine different women, some of the kids he doesn't even remember their names, walking into the locker room and introducing himself to a VIRGIN..."yo, I'm Cro...whaddup dog?"....exactly what interpersonal dynamic develops between him and Tebow??? Do they even acknowledge one another? Tebow already is the MOST polarizing football player in the NFL and the Rats want to put HIM on this fractured fairy tale team?

That's insane...but insanity is the main tenet of SOJ

It's mindboggling -- like a plot segment for a really bad Grade B football movie, only real. I'm crossing my fingers that Tebow signs with Jersey and the Green Beans re-up for "Hard Knocks."

I think calling Tebow the most polarizing player in the league is only accurate if you are talking about polarizing of fans and media, not teammates. Every shred of evidence we have is the Tebow is well recieved teammate.

Hopefully Ridley does get better. I hope the guy has 6.0 YPC this year and over 1,400 yards... but until we know he can do it, it seems like a good idea to hold onto the consistent and reliable RB we have, assuming his demands are realistic. Fumbles/turn overs can be game changers. I'm amazed at how easily they are dismissed around here by many.

Its the coaches job to know if the player is ready for the next step and NOT have to keep other guys around 'until we see'.

I hope you aren't trying to pigeonhole me with that post, by narrowing the parameters to "teammates". His Denver team mates got behind him when he took over to be sure but in September he caused quite a bit of bad blood between himself and the other two QB's to the point of being fined by them because of his lack of response to fans' billboard calling for him to start. That being said, I don't see how you can narrow the statement "most polarizing player in the NFL" to the miniscule slice of Denver players as a way to rip my post...and further, the Broncos don't have players with the mindset of Santonio Holmes and the rest of the Jet circus. Here's a link that sort of blows up this absolute "every shred of evidence" declaration...

THAT is a shred of evidence CONTRARY to your printed rejoinder. No more shots ,please, I don't want to play this game of back and forth over semantics.

Focusing on Lawfirm, I've seen the rumors, the visits to the Jets and so, but I still trust, I still hope he ends resigning with us, and that place. First, because he's been our best and most dependable RB the last 2 seasons and he'll continue to be the #1 option in the backfield if he stays. Second, because if it's not him, we'll still need other RB. Our options right now are a guy who's clearly a Kevin Faulk copy (specialist), other who until that last drive against the Chiefs had seen more action covering in ST than from the backfield, and another one who has shown flashes but I think is a high risk leaving as the workhorse and would be better for him and for the team to have other guy to divide balls between them. Third, I doubt other teams are going to offer him SO much money that we can't compete with them. Fourth, I think he likes the place and the team. That patch celebration in the AFC Championship shows that. And five, well, he's one of my favorite players on the entire roster, I like him since that 1st game he played against Denver.

But well, if he decides to leave, we'll have to start to look for a RB, of course.

BJGE faces nickel defenses most of the time, that is when his own offense is featuring a two TE set that can either run or shift into a receiver set and then still run the ball with big guys blocking for him.

Greene works in a run first offense that faces run defenses. There is no comparison in either offense the two backs work in or defense that the two backs face.

The fact is that BJGE should be averaging 6 yards a carry and lots of huge runs in an offense that features a HoF QB, two TEs that can receive like quality WRs(one that is a beast of a blocker) and an OL that is stacked.

I don't want him back as a starting rb.
We need an upgrade

Well said, J. And then we have the "not for attribution" grumblings of Bronco players turned off by Tebow's unintentional/well-intentioned (or not) grandstanding.

His celebrity sets him apart no matter what. I saw an example of this at the divisional playoff game vs. the Pats. Long after the Broncos went to the locker room following pregame warmups, Tebow was still on the field surrounded by a guest entourage he was chatting, hugging and hobnobbing with. I remember thinking, "Hey dude -- you've got a playoff game in a few minutes."

sounds like hes signing with the bengals

I'm pretty sure this is another example of just not wanting to pay as much as others are willing to offer. Belichick knew this was likely and built depth in advance of it. I'm fine with their young RB's and see them adding a rookie and a vet for the coming season.

officially gone

RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis reached agreement on a three-year deal with the Bengals.
