In 2007, they were "all over" to the tune of 27 points. The only reason this game was close were two dropped TD's by Watson/Moss.

    Anyway, MoLewisrocks is 100%.

Two things we know. 1) Jaws loves Tom Brady; the only time I've seen him pushed to choose between Brady and Manning he chose Brady. 2) He watches a lot of film.

It's fair to say he isn't just throwing this opinion out there for ratings. Arguing against his opinion is the fact that the offense now is entirely different from the Randy Moss based offenses Ryan has schemed against.

It's also probably fair to say Ryan has given fits to many QBs.

    #87 Jersey

He also had some serious #1 type Talents on those Defense too. Ray lewis - Suggs - Ed Reed and that Big DT Nata or whatever his name is. Chris Jenkins would have made that Jets D alot better he's a beast on the inside. Plus Revis on his Island...any Great Defensive Coach and do well if they have the guns.

Rex Ryan, has the pats offensive lines number the reason Brady has played less then "BRADY" like is cause he dose not have time to throw the ball if he gets time he will burn the jets all day

    FOLKS!!!!

It's all an ESPN hype plan to play "Good Cop, Bad Cop".

Notice this from his broadcast booth partner today:

Jon Gruden: Tom Brady can't be swept - AFC East Blog - ESPN

All you need to know is some ESPN suits sit with Jaws and Gruden at the beginning of the week and plan "OK Chucky you're playing this part this week and Jaws, you're playing this part this week - - learn your lines and get the words out by Wednesday".

Don't worry, they both will be kissing both Brady's and Sanchez's arses all game on Monday. I like both guys as analysts, but their Monday Night broadcasts are insufferable with their endless ball washing. Gruden with his "This guy" this and "This guy" that. Jaws hasn't met a QB he has covered on Monday night that his lips weren't surgurically implanted on their butt.

Rex Ryan has Tom Brady's number. Its 12. The same number as the IQ of Cromartie and the same number of donuts Rex eats each morning.

I'm not sure there is a conflict. One says "nothing ruffles Brady" and the other says Brady doesn't have Ryan's defenses figured out. I think that, similar to the Dolphins defenses earlier in the decade with Taylor etc., Rex Ryan's defenses, whether by personnel or by scheme, have caused the Patriots more struggles than nearly any other defense over the last 3-4 years.

The win over the Ravens in 2007 was pretty much the closest win they had all year. I'd be interested in knowing what Brady's passer ratings have been against Ryan defenses.

Suffice to say I'm concerned, but hopeful that on Monday, just like they did in the rematch last year, Brady will have the edge and the Patriots will win.

Eh, it's all an attempt to build up the Monday nighter to win ratings for ESPN.

Although, we may be right to be a little bit worried. I've heard that Jaws' film study is impeccable. If this is what he's seen on film, then I guess it must be true. I guess Rex Ryan really DOES own Brady.

I read this on a theganggreen (jets messageboard) They said that someone should post it here, as though no pats fan could handle reading these stats. Anyway, what do you guys think... should we be worried? (BTW i wanted to post this as a separate thread, but don't have enough posts)

Thanks for the shot. I usually trust the guy. He isn't perfect. I think he is wrong here. He may be wrong other times I think he is right. I usually take his word for things unless I know otherwise, but this shows maybe I shouldn't be as trusting.

Re: Tom Brady Play - Action Against Jets

First thing that comes to mind is that three games is too small of a sample size to reach any conclusion.

But now we reduce that small sample size much further by only looking at play action passes? I see a completion percentage of 33.3%; so what are talking about; probably six, or maybe nine passes over the course of two years?

That's not even bringing up the fact that he has only one player (Welker) still on the field for this game that he had for two of those three games that he will be throwing to on Monday.

That is so unfair. Cromartie isn't smart enough to take an IQ test and Rex doesn't eat donuts...they are fed into his stomach directly though a tube as a donut slurry (remember that "lapband surgery" earlier this year?).

12 is actually the number of Cromartie's offspring...
    on the east coast...
    with a birthday in December.

Or it could be the tint level of the visor LdT will be hiding behind as he tries to keep warm on the bench.

Unfortunately this means the folks at McFarlane will have to update the uniform on their Tomlinson "action" figure.
