This guy is going to be a superstar!!!!! ;)-
Had decent preseason w/colts and catch well out of backfield...welcome to the pats!!!!!

Do you think the Colts released him because he is any good?

Polian rarily gives away talent

I can't tell weather your serious or not, but if hes so good why did the colts cut him?

He sucked with the Hurricanes and he's now been cut from the Colts. Hopefully he can turn it around here.

If only it were EDGERRIN James in his prime :snob:

Being somewhat facetious here...don't know much about him other than saw him in a few games at UM.. .but colts have d. Brown and addai as their key backs....obviously BB saw something in him that he liked. He may not have fit their schemes there....might fit in here ....time will tell

Did you mean to say "rarely" or "warily"?

Just wonderin'.................

yea, well ive seen james play live, and i didnt see too much going on there

but best of luck to him

if anything he can be your consistent back that gets 3-5 yds a carry...no home run, no loss of yds type back

kind of exactly what id like actually, lol

Can he also rush the passer if all else fails?...eh??

Not only that but Polian ... though i can't stand him ...

i must say he has a great eye for later round talent.

There is no one better in the league...and IMO its not even close - despite the as$hole he is

As far as I'm concerned, RBs live and die with their burst. Even the big ones that aren't big play threats. In that sense James lacks the burst to pick up consistent yards. The o-line has to shoulder a greater burden for him than say, Lawrence Maroney.

With that said he is about as good a practice squad level player one could get. Upside? He should focus on the skills of a third down back. Catching, draw plays, blitz pickup, route running, etc. At best a Glen Coffee with better hands.

I am trying to figure out the logic behind this acquisition. Can anyone determine if there is anything logical about it, without the jokes.

Logic?..I am still wondering the logic over a 3rd and a 5th for Burgess  :p

I'm still wondering what he brings that Clayton or Chris Taylor didn't.

He's got a cool name and cool initials J.J. :rocker:

Don't underestimate the cool names in the NFL! Most stars have cool names. Coincidence? I think NOT!

Crumpler is an awesome sports name. My favorite though is Garth Butcher.
