Re: Jarvis Green signed by Broncos

Congrats to Green.

Re: Jarvis Green signed by Broncos

McDaniels, no suprise here. A lot of money tied in to a back-up. I'm fine with him gone.

Re: Jarvis Green signed by Broncos

Na na na na, na na na na, hey heeeeyyyyyy....

Re: Jarvis Green signed by Broncos

Thanks for being one of the best DL backups in the league in the mid-decade

Good luck in Denver.....you'll need it

Re: Jarvis Green signed by Broncos

Always thought Green was going to be a solid starter for the Pats a few years ago, but has been very inconsistent. I think he'll do better with more playing time on an up & coming defense playing alongside Dumervil.Thanx for the memories.

Re: Jarvis Green signed by Broncos

Good luck to him. That playoff game where he sacked Peyton three times remains a great memory.

Shefter:

$4.5 mil in first year
$7.5 mil in first 2 years
Total 4 years up to $20 mil.

Bucky:

Wow! overpaid big time!

Re: Jarvis Green signed by Broncos

This is a move that's good for the Broncos, Green AND the Patriots.

I LOVE Jarvis Green, but if those numbers are true, Jarvis just sacked the Broncos!

Re: Jarvis Green signed by Broncos

Great backup player. Nothing more, nothing less

Wish him the best

see ya Green. Everytime I saw him on the field, flash backs of Eli Manning pop into my head.

Re: Jarvis Green signed by Broncos

look at it this way......the pats just traded him to denver for a 2011 5th round pick

Re: Jarvis Green signed by Broncos

The pipeline between Foxboro and KC/Denver just keeps chugging. Wonder when something might start coming our way.......

That's a lot of money for a career 3-4 DE backup. Especially with all his injuries the past few years.

Don't forget Patriots south, otherwise known as the Kansas City Patriots

Re: Jarvis Green signed by Broncos

Jarvis was by all accounts a good lockerroom guy. He had some really good years for us and never complained about his role.

Thanks for the memories Jarvis.

Re: Jarvis Green signed by Broncos

LOL why am I not surprised. :D

Re: Jarvis Green signed by Broncos

I do not understand the whole backup comments here. He was our starting RDE now and when seymour was injured a few years back.
So he is good enough to be patriots starting RDE but not bronco`s RDE???.

Good for green a good player and i think dummerville is going to help him a bit as dummerville is going get some attention and green will get inside a bit more.
