When Empires Join Hands: Japanese Military Joins U.S. And NATO In Horn Of Africa
Why would we be there -- there's no oil?
Not sure where Angola is compared to these bases, but isn't there actually a solid amount of Oil there? If Angola is even in Africa...
It's on the other side of Africa
Angola is Southwest Africa. Where they are at is East Africa next to Somalia, Ethiopia, and Eritrea. There is no oil in Djibouti, it is solely dependent on shipping.
Oil isn't why we're there though as we know Africa boasts some of the richest natural resources in the world. We want Africa for many reasons, resources is definitely one of them. Also it sets the stage for perpetual war/"conflict" which as we also know, is a racket for profiteering.
Whoever controls Africa controls a lot.
