Depending on how long he's out on the market and how our QBs do injury wise during camp, I wouldn't rule it out.
Any team that has room on their roster for a 3rd string developmental QB would likely love to have him. Keep in mind he's only 24 and has never been with a "real" NFL organization.
He's certainly not going to command a big bonus. Everyone knows that he at least HAD tremendous potential 3 years ago...
There's no doubt in my mind that SOME team will sign him... if they look at him as a project and have room for that on the roster he's a low risk high reward prospect.
Although I think he'd be kept out of the limelight for a season, sitting on the bench, some team could even showcase him in meaningless preseason games in the hopes that he plays OK and a team in need of a QB might give up a draft pick for him.
He wouldn't be the first Raiders Reclamation Project that Belichick has turned around.
