Yeah, and we have one Troy, and that is enough. Besides, the name of the other WR they released sounds more promising.....Felton Huggins....:D

no way because you know everybody calls that dude huggies

Thanks anyway.

I'll take Bam.

So what's wrong with Edwards. He couldn't make our team?

They call Larry Johnson "Huggies" too. I'd take him.

I wouldn't. He can't hold a candle to Dillon. He would be lucky to make our practice squad.

Jags FB Greg Jones tore his ACL today and is out for the season.

I'll stick with Bam also

Ill take Bam as well but people are overlooking the fact he is probbaly better than Caldwell who is a bust.

Do you people realize that as of 8/28/06 the Pats receivers are Brown, Caldwell, Jackson (hurt), Childress and Stone. Of course you consider Troy Edwards!

Couldn't agree more. I'm looking forward to see other team's cuts at WR.

He's only 29? Why not work him out.

I think it bears mentioning that the Jags WR corps is in worse shape than the Patriots. It's also getting past time where we can reasonably expect a WR to learn a completely new system and contribute in the early part of the season. We don't have to pick up every piece of trash that comes across the waiver wire. I'm fairly certain somebody better will become available.

Dryheat, you're a very good poster. Calling somebody a piece of trash doesn't help others evaluate him.

Any receiver that's cut is going to have a downside.

does he shy from contact? Run lousy routes?

Not work well with others?,(from my grade school report card).:D

If you've seen him a lot, a real critique would be helpful to those who haven't.

Seems Jacksonville's going with big receivers, for what that's worth.

Troy Edwards was a bust. He's like David Terrell. That one didn't work out.
