We have almost $22 million in cap space going into next year. “Between our draft position and our cap base, we’re in strong position to be able to make the moves that we think are necessary to put ourselves back in the position to compete for a championship again in ’08, because I tell you, until we get the next Super Bowl championship, there is going to be a very, very strong hunger in our building down in Foxboro.”

Those words made me feel so much better for some reason. To hell with NFL network. I believe what the owner of the team has to say about our cap situation.

That's what I said the other day, they had around $22.3M in cap space before free agency started. I'm surprised some outlets were so far off on their cap space.

Ya, I was watching the NFLnetwork screen ticker and it had that Pats at 14mill under and I knew it was much higher than that. What's really shocking is that we actually have more CAP room than the crappy Jets, go figure.
