J.J. Watt spits on New England Patriots logo!!

After Watts tackled Ridley for no gain, he stood in the New England backfield wagging his finger at Ridley and mouthing off.

Someone explain to me how this is not the very definition of the taunting rule?

Oh sorry I forgot, Tony the Tiger's officiating crew just plained sucked yesterday. I actually thought the replacement ref's were back at one point.

I just want to know who invented the notion of using the adjective 'classy' to describe real football fans......

It's not a characterstic I give a crap about when it comes to supporting my football team......save it for the polo match.....and don't forget, pinky out!!!

Saying that an opponent is not "classy" is the last resort of a losing fanbase stuck with cheering for a team with an over-the-hill QB who will never take their team any further than he took them before they got eliminated in their second playoff game, two years in a row.

Yes, you're not the only one who thought that yesterday.

The NFL has to stop this practice of slapping together "All Star" crews for the playoffs. An officiating crew has to function as much like a "team" as the 22 people contesting the game on the field. I'd prefer a crew that has worked together for 20 games, but averages B+, over a crew of guys all graded A or A- that is thrown together at the last minute.

Watt said it's something he does before every game home or away....

Watt: 'No big deal, I spit everywhere'

I don't care if he "does it everywhere..." It's disrepectful to spit on someone else or someone else's team logo. If they think it's okay in Houston, JJ, go ahead and do it there, but you shouldn't be doing it anywhere else.

well the spitting doesn't work, maybe next year he'll try taking a dump on opposing teams logos.

JJ Watt is just like his team. Overrated and nothing but HYPE.

The game wasn't even as close as the score indicates. The refs gave the Texans 10 points with a TD, Foster did NOT score on that drive. Even he knew it after watching the replay on the screen. Then the Texan ran into the kicker and the referee dismisses it? Having that sorry offense keep the ball for 3 more points. I was disappointed at the officiating, in fact I was starting to believe that Goodell knew this would be some blow out game and to keep the ratings high for the game, he informed the refs to try and keep it close. The Texans are who we said they were... Complete garbage.

Pats fans are far from classy. This forum is a good example of it. If we have a guy who talks **** and stuff we love him(Spikes), if an opponent does it, he is an ******* and should be penalized(Sherman). Gotta say, fans on this forum is even worse than Jets fans. It could just be that this is the worst football forum around.

Given that this forum kills Patriots players who talk, you are about as far away from being accurate as it's possible to be.

I hate the way he salutes after making a play. The SOB never served in any military. If he wants to salute let him join the Marines. HooRaaaah!
As long as he plays in Houston he'll never get near the Lombardi Trophy unless he pays admission.

The more I think about it, the more he just seems like an immature, self-absorbed teenager. Who else wouldn't realize that it's disrespectful (not to mention gross) to spit on the logo of any team, your own included, or that it's disrespectful to people who have served in the military to use a military salute when you think you've made a good play? Let's see if he's still using this schtick a few years from now.

Don't like Watts' schtick and agree he should be criticized but I wonder what antics I would do if I had been thrust in front of TV cameras in my early 20s *. As somewhat of a wise ass, I don't think I'd be proud today. Let's see how the young man matures. Same goes for "****" Sherman.

* And yes, you Bastids. They DID have TV back then.

Uh huh right. You guys would know being on the cusp of playing for your first Super Bowl victory not tainted by a cheating scandal.

As for the salute and the military...

The Watt schtick of the point-and-finger-wag after a stuff for a loss or a batted down pass looks pretty lame in the context of giving up 40+ points twice to the same team.

I don't think it's flag-worthy taunting, but pre-arranged celebrations for specific plays need to be rethought.

Regards,
Chris

Accusing Watt of using PEDs in pure BS, completely unfounded.

As for the rest yeah hey good luck against Baltimore just think if you guys win you could actually have a chance to win your first legit Super Bowl under Belichick.
#SPYGATE

Says the fan of the team who just popped their playoff cherrys last year lol

Ah, I see. So the Patriots only beat your team and neutralized Watt cause they are cheaters.

Go home, little boy. You couldn't understand how hard it is to win a SB.

You've hardly even smelled one!

No actually I was referring to the Spygate Cheating Scandal of years past. As for yesterday no you guys won fair and square no question.

Again on Watt there isn't a single member of the Patriots defense who is fit to hold JJ Watt's jockstrap.

Certainly not this guy:

Now I KNOW you are a troll, posting your gay porn at this site. This bunch of roid suckers can't stop our offense.

It's weird/gross ritual for sure and it's understandable that people are upset by it, can't believed he does that in his own stadium. If I were the owner/player/coach I'd ask him to please stop, it's nasty lol. Great player, still love em on our team...

Why are we talking about this guy? He's sitting home, as irrelevant as Mark Sanchez. The only team that the Pats should be focused on is the Ravens. Let the Texans fan troll here. They have nothing better to do than listen to crickets chirp on their own forum.

When the Texans win something, anything, then they deserve to be talked about.

Your criticism of Wilfork is as ignorant as those criticizing JJ as a player (I reserve the right to think that Watt is a great player but has a dumbass pregame routine which he should deep six until a team on which he plays actually wins something more than a WildCard playoff game.)
