    No Jersey Selected

Ugh. How pathetic is that? First she bashes and bashes and bashes him all the way through the primary (yes, I know it's what they are supposed to do but she took it the extra mile). Then, we get camera shot after camera shot of her with that fake grin on her face applauding like an idiot during the DNC. In the same night she makes this ridiculous speech for Obama (though well spoken) when you just know that she despises the guy and wishes he was dead so she could take his place. Now she's sucked up to him enough to back into the Secretary of State seat? Clinton is absolutely pathetic. Horrible choice for Secretary of State, IMO.

It's an interesting choice. Risky for sure. He placates Hillary supporters, and puts a world known, globally accepted face into the SOS position. It has it's benefits for sure. At the same time, it's Hillary $%$*'ing Clinton. [IMG]

oh come on, there is precedent for putting your rivals in position of power.

    Lincoln did it.

    Kennedy did it.

The only thing that comforts me about Obama bringing in all these Clinton people is that they all seem to be practical over ideological... thus there won't be the radical shift to the left that many people don't want to see.

But I do wonder what the people who bought this whole change thing are thinking as they see the same old suits marching around Washington.

I voted for Obama.....I wanted change from Bush/McCain. Wasn't looking for Obama to appoint Ralph Nader to the joint chief of staff.
