That whole thing was a disgrace. They actually put the Emergency Preamble clause into that bill as a sort of poison pill. I think they were surprised when they didn't get the two thirds majority. So they passed it anyway with an obscure rarely used gubernatorial power. What is truly sad about this case is that good old Teddy knew he was dying. If he ever really cared about his job or the commonwealth in general for that matter. He could have set up and made plans for a special election. He didn't care enough, so he left them with this bag of sh*t. Way to go Ted, selfish to the end.

They didn't get it in though...which was why the Governor needed the emergency declaration letter.

No, it was actually in the legislation..... They did'nt get the 2/3 majority that's why they went to the letter. It did'nt pass so they had to back door it. But, they actually put an emergency preamble into the legislation..

Right they tried but it failed to make it in so it isn't part of the actual law itself, hence the need to go around the 90 day required wait period through the emergency declaration.

Is Kennedy still dead? I'm waiting for the conspiracy that Ted is really alive, the coffin was empty and Ted did it all to save healthcare ... you go Ted.

    .

The Cult of the Kennedys lives on. Only when the stake is driven through it's cold dead heart will we be liberated.

The Catholic Church "praising" Ted Kennedy, the #1 pro-abortionist in America?? the guy who philandered his wife into a mental hospital?? the guy who KILLED a young woman with whom he was going to have an affair?? the guy who lived by the credo his gangster old man taught him: "If you see a piece of cake, take it, and eat it."????

Shame on the Catholic Church who folded like a broken accordion. Shame on Catholics who overlook the life-long legacy of crime and depravity in this gangster family of Kennedys. Shame. Shame. Shame.

Really, just shut the hell up. You have no idea what the hell you are responding to nor do you have any idea what the heck is going on. Just move on and save your preaching and crap slinging for something else.

I'll show how idiotic you really are and how much you are becoming a troll here:

What are your thoughts on the new Senator and should the courts overturn the emergency order?

The courts should absolutely over-turn the "emergency" order. Such a scam is so typical of the Kennedy style. They think they are "entitled" to power and privilege. Wrong. Their old man was a gangster who supported Hitler at one point, hated Jewish people.

Just as I thought, no substance only generalities that only partly answer the question.

You have no idea what is actually going on, you don't know any specifics, you don't even know who the guy is that was chosen to replace Kennedy- you are just spouting off for the sake of spouting off spewing the same tired garbage.

Go troll another thread if you aren't going to add anything here

The guy's the former chief "adviser" to the Ted man. Everybody knows that. All of the Kennedy clan signed off on him; he's a rubber stamp for the Kennedy "legacy". Bad news.

Please get a life. You are tilting windmills here, now. The truth isn't going to change for you or me or anyone. Get with it.

Once again, more generalities no substance. No name mentioned, just more rhetoric you lifted. You probably didn't even read the the linked story...

Are you desperate for a "one-up", or what???

Paul Kirk. Everybody knows that. I read your story, although the particulars are predictable as a cow leaving pies on the meadow after a good lunch of greens.

Run along now. I'm sure you have work to do. I know I do.
