Just wanted to construct a post to reminisce about 2008.

I thoroughly enjoyed the season, ups AND downs. It was fun to watch Matt Cassel and in the next two seasons we will see what the truth of his success was. In my opinion, a good deal of it was him.

I've posted links to game highlights, wins and losses. I'd love to see links added and to hear you talk about your favourite plays of 2008.

My top two were the Cassel PA Pass to Moss from the end-zone in the KC game and the Brandon Meriweather strip sack to kill the Seahawks.

Really, a top ten list wouldn't get close to the special moments this season gave us - special moments, in spite of awful ones, too. Memory lane, y'all...

Pre-season:
Week 1 - Ravens
**Flacco's second NFL pass stripped and recovered by P. Woods.

Week 2 - Bucs
**Wild snap (not) to Cassel gets run in for a Bucs TD

Week 3 - Eagles
**Pats ST allows a kick AND punt returned for TD's

Week 4 - Giants
**O'Connell to Chad Jackson (who?) for a TD - This video shows why Kevin is the likely successor to Tom.

Regular Season:
Week 1 - Chiefs
**Deltha O'Neil SAVES THE WIN ;)

Week 2 - Jets
**AD's Legendary Sack, Meri's First Pick (I believe)

Week 3 - Dolphins
**The Wildcat, Lame Pats Fans Bailing

Week 4 - Bye
**Troy Brown officially retires.

Week 5 - 49ers
**Rodney gets burned, but makes a pick later.

Week 6 - Chargers
**EPIC FAIL

Week 7 - Broncos
**Wilfork puts a Tonya Harding on Cutler's thumb with his helmet!
Rodney Harrison goes down, probably for good.
Also, J Sanders continues to make the haters look ******ed.

Week 8 - Rams
**The emergence of LAW FIRM!
Deltha O'Neil saves the win AGAIN.

Week 9 - Colts
**Gaffney's Gaff, Thomas' Boner.
Cassel nearly smokes a ref!

Week 10 - Bills
**We have a receiver named Aiken? lol

Week 11 - Jets
**Cassel blows the doors off his detractors.

Week 12 - Dolphins
**Moss was disrespected with single coverage. Oops. Moss 3 TD's
Also, Sanders continues to say "I love me some Welse Wekker" lol

Week 13 - Steelers
**Vrabel picks off Big Ben. Things started SO well... :(
Moss blows a TD, but let's pretend only Ben Watson does that sort of thing.

Week 14 - Seahawks
**Seau Returns for a mini-undefeated season.
Meri's strip-sack (Warren Recovers)

Week 15 - Raiders
**Matt plays in the wake of his father's death.
Back-to-back KO returns for TD.

Week 16 - Cardinals
**Operation Decimation - Can you believe those guys went to the SB?
Also features the most expensive snow-angel of all time.

Week 17 - Bills
**All we are is effing awesome in the wind. Cassel becomes the teams best punter.
Also the worst ST screw-up ever (as far as I know).

Hope you guys take the time to enjoy it, despite Deion Sanders, hehe.
If I screwed up any of the links, let me know. It's the middle of the night here and my Espresso is wearing off fast.

Ravens preseaon game;

You forgot Crables wicked pissah int :D

I know everyone is facinated with Cassel and the great things he did do for us, to me the 2008 season will be remebered for Marcus Pollard hit on Brady and taking away a year of Brady 2 Moss , and possibly a playoff birth along the way.. With that said ,bring on 2009 it cant get here soon enough..

I like the good.

Not the bad.

I think the 08 season was the prelude to BB's crown jewel. It will be the part of BB's legcacy that proves TFB wasn't the the biggest part of his success. I don't expect BB to stay after the end of his current contract, and has built a great foundation for another potential historic run. In short, this past season will become the stuff of legend.

Remember, there's more to life than sports.

there playing not you lot.

Everytime I see the AD sack of the Farve I can't wait to get him back outside. I really believe the defense will be markedly improved in 2009 and will be the lightening to the offense's thunder.

I'm excited for 2009. So very very excited.
