eee, probably not. nothing really happens until saturday at the earliest. u might see some re-signings and hear about players visiting different places, but things dont usually start happening until the weekend into the next week.

How will that be? Are we somehow getting a play-over in the Super Bowl?

if i remember correctly, the new nfl season officially starts at midnight friday. in other words, saturday. so we probably wont hear anything till saturday morning. but it will feel like christmas, provided we get moss in our stockings, instead of coal:D

Getting Moss back to me will be like a christmas, and a birthday.

Randy and Tom to finish their careers together is all I want as of Saturday.

    Yet on a side note:

Ty Law back on the field with his old number would be some sprinkles on the frosting.

Asante avoiding the Jets and heading elsewhere would be extra spinkles.

Gaffney re-upping, yet even more sprinkles.

Knowing how secretive Bill Belichick is, we fans may know very little for

days. We have yet to hear officially that Larry Izzo has re-signed. We

should know today whether Wright and Moore were given tender offers.

I expect by the time we wake up tomorrow that Asante Samuel will

have a new home. Tedy Bruschi might also make his decision tomorrow

but then the Pats have to re-sign him. Negotiations are ongoing with

a few players but the results may not be announced until next week.

I don't believe the Pats will jump right into signing players at the very

start since they don't have lots of cap space. The exception might be

Randy Moss if he has, in fact, been re-signed.
