...how the media is putting ZERO pressure on the Broncos and Peyton Manning?
This is a team that got to the divisional round last season with Tim Tebow. Yet all we hear about in the press is how much pressure the Pats, Falcons, 49ers, Texans, etc. have on them to win this weekend.
The media loves building people up and tearing them down. What if the Falcons lose? Is Matt Ryan a choker? What if the Patriots lose? Are Brady and Belichick done? What if the Texans lose? Are they forever damned to mediocrity?
With the media being an entity with such an affinity for unconstructive and negative dialogue, particularly pertaining to 'legacies', you'd think they'd acknowledge what's at stake for Manning.
For his whole career, the excuse has been that the team around him fails him. Now, he's on an all-around stacked squad in Denver. What if he loses? Funny how quick the media is to create pressure and distractions, except when its the team they're rooting for.
