How so? Manning had a better game last week than Brady did today.
So? That was in a dome. Philip Rivers also had a better game last week than Brady did today.
EDIT: Nevermind, your argument was that Manning wasn't a choker, not that Manning is the better QB. That was PF1996.

Brady didn't play "well enough to win", he essentially choked all day long and would have cost the Pats the game but for the defense and Faulk who saved his butt. Manning smoked this secondary, yet Brady throws three picks and can't throw a ball more than 10 yards. Manning is definitely the best QB in the league, with Brady a distant second.

You're very right although very few on this board will acknowledge it. Brady has "choked" as much or more than Manning in the playoffs yet because he gets bailed out by his defense, he's incorrectly considered a "big game QB". I don't trust either QB very much in big games against good defenses but at least Manning has shown he can convert first downs and long passes against good defenses, unlike Brady.

That has got to be the dumbest thing I've ever read on this message board.

You are truly like the little ***** that couldn't! ;)

Enjoy your next 7 months off. :rocker:

Anyone seen Randy postgame? Haven't seen him in any of the postgame pics yet.

Where were you all those weeks Brady was throwing TD's at will? You only start your little crusade when Brady has a decent (yes, today's numbers were decent...not great, but not bad either) game. Ok, he didn't lead his team to victory this week...but he did 17 times this year. How can you overlook everything he's done in his career? It makes no sense, man.

Seriously, what is your agenda? Are you still pining for Drew Bledsoe, or do you think this a Testaverde/Kosar situation? Because I have news for you, Bill Belichick was right both times. That's why the Patritos are in the middle of a dynasty.

Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are the reason we fans are witnessing one of the greatest teams of ALL TIME.

Probably didn't have one with the events of the week and everything.

Exactly. Every question asked by the media would have somehow come back to the events earlier in the week and the accusations against him.

PF mostly posts on the political forum here FWIW... He thinks we'd be better off with a truly great QB like Marc Bulger...:D

You need to get your carbon monoxide detectors checked out, or, get some installed if you don't have any

of course he did....Moronvara with ANOTHER astute observation...Peyton lost >>>>> Brady won...the Moronvara logic at its finest

Well, proof that, though some Pats fans may be intelligent, they also have some of the dumbest in the league.

The point really is that if Peyton's D had held SD to field goals instead of TD's, or if Brady's D had given up TD's instead of holding to FG's, Brady would have had a much worse choke today than Manning.

Yeah, sure guy. Brady has one bad game (his "choke game" against the Colts last year was hardly his fault, considering the offense put up over 30 points and the defense blew it) and all of a sudden he's terrible. Manning, as great as I think he is, has been significantly worse in the playoffs than Brady his entire career. As proven by this year. By the by, Brady was 22/33 today and threw for 2 TDs. We'll call him off (3 INTs versus Manning's 6 in the regular season), but many teams would consider that a masterful performance by their QB... spoiled us (by Brady) thinks it was horrendous.

PF1996 has shown himself over and over again to be more than a bit insane. He is illogical, abrasive, irrational, and also, sadly, kind of a tool. Worst of all is his predictability.

Perhaps someday he will be happy again. We can all hope and pray for him.

more proof that Indy troll CANNOT ever admit that HIS PayMeTons is NOT as good as 18-0 Brady...nice try though...just like all season, you try and try and try and try...and NOW look at you...polishing that 'Manning is better than Brady!!!!!!" turd once again

I understand your overall point, that Manning is given little credit here. But let's not get carried away.

Brady did not choke today. He tossed some crappy balls. Both he and Manning had some passes tipped. Manning did not lose the game last week. You are right, that his defense lost it--they failed at the worst possible time. He had some very good drives, and some beautiful throws, as did Brady.

It is probably not a coincidence that both QBs had turnovers against such an opportunistic defense. But San Diego's offense never had a chance.

No not press conference, I said postgame pics. Meaning I didn't see him in the pictures of the postgame celebration.

Little Peytie plays in a heat controlled dome...Brady played in conditions that led to the high powered San Diego Chargers to score 4 FIELD GOALS...Ootball the moron wants to make a direct comparison between two totally different game conditions...uh...Pootball...remember when Peytie Crybaby played in these conditions in an AFC championship game??? In fact, slightly BETTER conditions than today???

that's right, Ootidiot....21 to THREE...three points, Sootball

Who won the game? The Patriots or the Chargers?

That's not the question at hand. Manning played a better game last week than Brady did this week. Brady won because he had much better support from his defense and running backs this week than Manning had last week.
