Stadiums generally issue different credentials in two types of varieties. One way is all the same color but different shapes for different levels of access. The other is all are the same shape but differnt colors. The two passes in the pics you posted appear to be the same style but two different colors.

It could simply be a sideline credential, not necessarily a Jest credential.

Hmmmmmm, Are we sure those are official JETS credential? Certainly looks like staff person with them on. In your other PHOTO though, it shows two guys that appear to be other non-staff stuff that appear to be wearing the same credentials (color too).

One is the guy to the right of the camera dude, holding the sound disc (?). Plus it look like the Ref (or ballboy, or whatever he is) in the red shirt has them to.

The guy with the handheld unit (in my link) has a distinctly different set of credentials on.

The cameramen filming your second photo with matching credentials actually appears legit (at least he has a vest on).

Looking closer at THIS photo, the ref appears to have an NFL cap on and doing NFL duties. His credentials match your top photo

Yeah, two credentials both printed with a number "1" on different guys... not that useful. And the ref definitely has the same color card as the guy you show w/the camera... eh well.

Keep fishing through the video of course... maybe there is a smoking gun out there, and it doesn't have to be the Jets. But this ain't it.

Case closed....

Now, now, not....... let's not give up so fast ;)

In the post that I linked to THIS ONE. If you focus on the guy holding the CAMERA (which would be the illegal act if there was one). Notice the following things.

  • He is wearing credentials too, and they are distinctly different then the ones that appear to be worn by the other examples shown in the photos here (the ref guy, the guy holding the sound thing, and the apparently legit appearing cameraman in the second photo of this thread.
  • It is also different from the clear credentials shown on the guy standing behind Mangina in the top photo. He has no head in the photo, so we do not know who he is, he could be security, he could be anything, but his credentials clearly match the ref's so it's logical that he is probably an NFL credentialed person in some manner (despite the JETS logo on his shirt).
  • Going back to the rouge cameraman in the link. His credentials are smaller and appear (at least on my computer) to be white and darkish (possibly JET green). He also has a lanyard around his neck the definitely appears dark green.
  • His clothing appear to match that of several of the asst' coaches of the JETS.
  • He is a stand alone video guy. He has NO headset nor cords leading away from him to indicate that he is part of some network broadcast team (unlike the two sound people next to him that have cords leading away from the equipment).
  • In this further out SHOT. He clearly is filming the Pats defense (he's all the way to the right). and once again standing off to the side and there is NO sound guy (with a boom mic) anywhere near him. He is camcordering the action like you would at Suzy's dance recital
  • This is in the first half, before Estrella got busted. EM likely would have yanked him once all this went down.
  • This is just this ONE GUY, it doesn't even speak to the other two guys we discussed earlier that ALSO need to be explained

The reason, I focused on this guy, cuz it should be SOOOOO easy to easy credit or discredit the validity of this by ANYONE in the media. I'm sure a savvy media person could figure out what credentials are what and with this guys being pretty distinct, it would only be a email or two from a LEGIT MSM source.

If he is trying to steal signs, he couldn't be further away from the bench. It looks like he is just ahead of the play as it heads towards the endzone. If the shot were wider, I'm guessing you would see several more photographers as you head into the endzone.

Doesn't matter, Bill was wacked for the rule that specifically stated NO CAMERAS. Besides, the sign might already have been in and he shifted already.

Look along the length of the shot (in the pulled back version). There ARE certainly other video folks, cept they all have VEST's on.

My point is there is almost no way he is shooting the Patriots bench, he is shooting the play.
