Apparently after Matt Ryan went down with his injury Suh stood over him and yelled 'Get The Cart' and other stuff that Falcons players rather not say.

Reports also have it that Avril was also involved and kicking at the feet of Ryan as he lay on the ground saying 'get him off the field' and there was some joking and snickering between several defensive Lions players.

Also Suh was called for a flagrant face mask grab on Ryan during the game.

Is stuff like this from Suh getting a little out of control?

I know he is an Elite DL and his play is one of the reasons that Detroit is no longer a pushover, but I think this could get to a point where he literally hurts someone badly.

I don't want the game to turn into Goodell's flag football league but I don't want a player intentionally going all out to maim another either.

He is definitely the top bully in the NFL, no doubt.

He's big, strong, athletic and mean, and he plays to hurt people. He's not the first of his kind by any means though.

Mr. Suh seems to be on his way to being a habitual offender.

There were guys like Lawrence Taylor who punished you for carrying the ball but this guy seems at times intent to do bodily harm to another player....there is no place in the NFL for this.

I like to see great players punish ball carriers as they are supposed to do,but to intentionally hit them to injure them is not right.

Suh will probably be losing a lot if money for fines during his career.

If he keeps up this c**p, I think he might start losing entire game checks by the end of his rookie deal.

I think after multiple fines during one period,it's time for Goodell to start suspending these types of savages.

Like I said,I love tough nosed, blue collar hard hitting defenders, but Suh does not appear to be satisfied with taking a ball carrier down without having him carried off....and it WILL happen unless Shwartz can get this guy to play hard and mean but not bloodthirsty.

Suh has been a jackass since day one. Hell of a player, but he takes it too far. This isn't the 70's, hopefully when he starts getting nailed with bigger fines and his wallet is thinner he'll learn to play within the rules.

Just hope noone gets hurt on the way there.

this league is notorious for "getback" plays....Suh is one rolling crackback from the I.R. for the year...and there isn't a player in their division who has experienced his rage that would bat an eyelash if he was crippled up.

It's the time that we live in and Roger Goodell that has convinced people that playing with anger is a bad thing and needs to be punished.

I have no problem with the way Suh plays. It's an intense physical sport and he's no different than Warren Sapp was just a decade before him. Players used to be praised for being aggressive, and now they are ridiculed and criticized.

If he was like this to Matt Ryan,I wonder what kind of mood he will be in when the Packers come to visit in a huge showdown on Thanksgiving Day.

Everyone will be watching and Suh will probably be out to end Rodgers career and help the Lions in their quest to win that division.

Rodgers might want to keep Finley blocking for him as an extra OL all game,he'll have a bullseye on his forehead.

Comeuppance usually has a way of finding these types of players. Strange what crossing the white line does to some people.

I honestly don't have a problem if that's Suh's mindset. It's up to the big guys up front on the packers O-Line to keep him off Rodgers.

what was Ryans o-linemen doing during this? You know if Suh said that while Brady was on the ground, that Mankins, and Light would try to end him right then, and there.

    I was wondering that myself

I am guessing that during this time the Falcons precariously had a small lead in the game and did not want to let a penalty or a player getting kicked out affect the final score.........or maybe they were simply scared of what ass beating they might get from Suh had they got up in his face?

I just wonder how long Goodell is going to nickel and dime Suh before actually taking a metaphorical dollar away from him, either in the form of a larger fine ($100k or more), or a suspension and loss of game check, which would be just under $100k this year and closer to $500k next season, when his salary jumps to over $9M.

And not just Suh, but the whole DL. That DL lives and dies by the bully mentality. If the opposing offense is intimidated, the DL can take over the game. If the offense steps up and matches the intensity level, they're not the best DL in the league, and can be taken advantage of because of their aggressiveness.

The Detroit Lions defensive line is the NFC version of the Baltimore Ravens.....but the Ravens don't play dirty, just hard from what I have seen and Ngata doesn't have to bully to get respect

He's a dirty bastard alright. Actually, that whole Lions team has a really nasty swagger about them lately (and not in a good way). Hope they keep losing, cause even though I like Schwartz, Stafford, and Johnson... I just hate the mentality a good portion of their team is bringing to each game. It's not good for anyone.
