Is it too early to start a binky thread?

right now im a big Justin Houston fan he could be the every down OLB the pats need

I am really glad to see Burney on some others' posts, he jumped off the screen to me too. I'll add another UNC guy who I love because he simply has unique qualities and thats Bruce Carter OLB. He is a kick blocking specialist to start, pass rushing qualities as meat and potatoes and I dont think we have had a guy on the team quite like him since Bruschi. We know how he started, the progressions he made and he wasnt close to the athlete Carter is. For sure he is a my definition of a luxury pick, but if the rosters expand this type of guy could surely find enough room to play even his first year. I had a binky a couple years ago who also was the fastest LB who went undrafted....Wesley Woodyard. Woodyard has started games in Denver, not bad for a UDFA. We all see what Guyton has done with similar qualities. 4.39 at 235, poor mans LT.

I really wanted him. Then Woodhead happened:cool:

Devine looked pretty bad at the Senior Bowl. He couldn't move tacklers forward at all and went down way too easy -- has great speed obviously, but I worry about the strength thing at the next level. Woodhead on the other hand is fantastic in that area.

Delone Carter, Dion Lewis, Bilal Powell

I'm refining my binky list to one position LB. Two have played ILB and would shift to OLB and one DE to OLB. Get one or two of these guys and I'd be pleased:

Martez Wilson
Marckus White
Kelvin Sheppard

All are close to or exactly the size BB covets. All are versatile, productive and with the exception of maybe White extremely football savvy. None would require a 1st Rounder but any one of them could end up playing like one.
