This reminds me of NEM's link to made up numbers for state IQs. Whatever. He was elected twice so if he's too dumb, the joke's on us.

Unfortunately, it is no joke for 2,550 dead American soldiers.

Funny thing is...and we all know it...there is a big difference between book smarts and street smarts. Jimmy Carter was very smart, but had little to no street smarts. Clinton had both and he usually used them to hus advantage.

IMO I think Bush has average intelligence at least and probably above average. But, he has tremendous street smarts. yes, he has made mistakes...but opeople who know him say he doesn't usually miss a trick. His goofball mannerisms is a ploy to make people at ease...then he strikes and strikes quick and hard.

He's not the greatest public speaker NEM ... but the world is full of smart people who can't speak or write well. Not sticking up for Bush, just saying that public speaking is not any kind of an indicator.

NEM's posts make George Bush seem like Einstein.

    Most of these are doubtful.

147 Franklin D. Roosevelt (D) -- could be, not likely that high
132 Harry Truman (D) -- perhaps, probably a little lower
    122 Dwight D. Eisenhower (R) -- probably a bit higher
174 John F. Kennedy (D)--definitely lower, by at least 25 points
126 Lyndon B. Johnson (D)--Not as smart is Truman? Please.
    155 Richard M. Nixon (R)--probably about right
121 Gerald Ford (R)--probably about right
    175 James E. Carter (D) -- possibly, more likely about 150
105 Ronald Reagan (R) -- at least 20 points higher
098 George HW Bush (R) -- at least 20 points higher
    182 William J. Clinton (D) -- Please--smart, but not Einstein. Maybe 150.
    091 George W. Bush (R) -- at least 20 points higher

On what do I base my corrections? Common sense. Now that's where W's score is really in the toilet.

How does it make Gore/Kerry/Hollywood/Uncle TeddyGang and the WHOLE democrat party feel when people call Bush "Stupid", he mopped the floor with all of them, TWICE.

THE DUMMY IS LIVING IN THE WHITE HOUSE, Gore/Kerry will never live there.

Of course you are talking about Bush 41. There is no possible way in christs creation that you could be referring to "Dubya"

If theres any truth to what you are saying its either mistaking Bush Sr for Junion or Cheney for Junior. After all, the striker is Cheney, not Dubya.

    GW Bush, "the dummy",
Why is he flying around on Air Force One, why does the Marine Band play "Hail To The Chief" when he walks into a room.

    Why do they say,
"Ladies and gentleman, the President of the United States" :singing:

Now, if you want to see a couple of real DUMMIES tak a look at Gore/Kerry :bricks:

As I recall, Charlie McCarthy was pretty successful too.
