Is everybody as psyched about Sunday's game as I am?

I live in NYC and you should read the articles putting pressure on the Rat to win this week, especially in their first home game in the new stadium.

New stadium? I thought that was a couple of years away.

Opens in 2010.

I wish it was sooner. I hate walking a mile and a half after I park when I want to go to a Nets game with my son. Tailgating must just suck there.

I love it why most of the herd wrote off the Pats.

Honestly, I cannot stand the herd mentality.

Looking forward to tomorrows game.

Relax, calibrating sarcasm is hard enough face to face never mind the internet. Gentle ribbing -- and in my own defense, at that -- was all that was intended, not a full-on sneer.

d ick.

JUST KIDDING on that last part :D

Sirrously, enjoy the game. To me the change at QB is the story this week going in... now if the D clamps down like a dominatrix on crack, that will quickly trump the story going in.

It's just more exciting in general to get the win now. Previously all we could do is mess up, or do the expected and win.

Story lines abound.

We all breath the same air, drink the same spoiled grain, and belch and fart the same combination of nachos, jalapeno, bean dip and CO2.

Happy gameday eve day eve, and enjoy Sunday!

agree re "more exciting in general to get the win now..."

j erk :)

we'll have a lot better idea on Matt about this time tomorrow...enjoy the game

I look forward to it because it ends this brutal week and all this anticipation.

Of course, it starts another week of dead horse beating and anticipation, but that's football.

Can't wait. I fully expect a decisive win for the Pats.

Last week, someone started a thread out here saying that he had "lost interest" in the season because of Tommy's injury.

Are you kidding me? I am even more pumped for this week's game than I would have been before.

So, how pumped up are we?

You live in NYC and don't get out much.......the new stadium is Scheduled to open August 2010.

As always, I'm pretty pumped to watch the Pats, but this week is different for more than 1 reason.....
Obviously TFB isn't playing, so the Jests and alot of others think our Boys are just gonna take a beatin' and go home.
I wanna see the Look on Manginas face when he is running for his life after we beat the snot outta them...
I also can't wait to see the smirk on BB's face when he does the BS handshake with Judas after the game....meanwhile whispering in his ear " hahaha you lil faXXot, I hope they FCJKLOH beat you black and blue..... run forest run!!!".....

The Jester Fans think the Pats will all of the sudden be a crap team, when the facts are they are still a very solid squad.

I take a different view. Sure, the story is all about Matt and he's the most important single player on the field for us... But, this game will be won or lost by 21 other starters on O and D and by the best coaching staff in the NFL.

It's great to once again view this team as a whole. I think last year kind of spoiled us. We simply knew the offense was going to win the game (or at least that's the way I was thinking). THE INJURY has taken us back to looking at all aspects of the game and I think it's great.

Living in the Evil Empire State, I'll be surrounded by Jets fans tomorrow.
I will have the first and last laugh....Lord Favre's first interception and the final outcome - just another Pats victory over Mangina's Jets. :singing::singing::singing:

Thanks, Curtis. When I noticed the error, it was too late to edit it out. Got ahead of myself there. But, I will admit that I don't "get out" to the Deadowlands. Something about the smell from the Jets.

To you and everyone who called me on that: thanks and oops.

Jeez...it's a regular season game and I'm as nervous and counting the hours like it was the Playoffs or the Division was on the line.

I just want the thing to start already. I saw today that they're going to show the game on the Filippino-cable TV we have here, so I'm pretty pysched to not have to worry about watching it online.

I'm pumped for this one:rocker: and nervous,but in a GOOD way:confused:
As a fan I'm growing to like this experience. It's been a long time since the "one game at a time" attitude-one play at a time actually!

I'm psyched for the game and I'm psyched for the mindset too. HUGE game for the Pats, and we have NO idea how it'll turn out, which is quite a change overall.

Freakin Mangini-time to splat that rat, make him squirm, put the first nail in his job security coffin:D
