What do the "Sore Losing Lefty Haters" think about this one, I would love to hear a comment from "Hollywood"

What They Are Saying in Israel:
We just don't get it. The Left in America is screaming to high heaven that the mess we are in in Iraq and the war on terrorism has been caused by the right-wing and that George W. Bush, the so-called "dim-witted cowboy," has created the entire mess.

The truth is the entire nightmare can be traced back to the liberal democratic policies of the leftist Jimmy Carter, who created a firestorm that destabilized our greatest ally in the Muslim world, the shah of Iran, in favor of a religious fanatic, the ayatollah Khomeini.

I do not think that Carter helped the situation, but the Jerusalem Post is not exactly all warm and fuzzy over Carter and his recent comments about Israel. So this article may be a tad biased.

The Jerusalem Post is sort of like Fox tv; it's a mouthpiece for the Israeli right. The question is, Are countries like Iran entitled to self-determination or not. I think the answer is yes for that's the way nation's evolve. Let's remember that Iran was moving toward a more moderate course under Rafsanjani, but then we invaded Iraq, and like us, the Iranians rallied behind their flag and cries of nationalism and elected a far right leader. Our problems with Iran are direct result of the American right-wing's support for the war on Iraq. Had Carter known that 25 years after his term, the American right-wing would appoint and laud a drunken moron as President, Carter might have left the Shah in place, but I'm sure Carter didn't think that so many right-wingers were so stupid as to show 6 years of blind loyalty to an idiot like Bush.

Carter's incompetence in dealing with Iran is one of the reasons Reagan became President.

The irony of that is both of the rescue attempts failed because of equipment failures. Like Bush, Carter learned the hard way that our military isn't as capable as it purports to be.

Jimmy Carter was the biggest coward, the biggest fool and the biggest JOKE to ever live in the White House, the only other person to come close to this "Simpering wimpering a$s hole" would have been UNCLE TEDDY HIMSELF.

"Equipment failures"!!?? I don't care HOW good the delta force guys were in those two helicopters that went in to rescue the embassy personnel, two little helicopters was sending 40 ants to fight an ant-eater.

Carter lost the U.S. Embassy in Iran because he was the most incompetent president in U.S. history, bar none. From 3 hour waits for gas -- on *ALTERNATE* days, no less -- to inflation at 17%, to high unemployment, spawning the never before seen term, "stag-flation", to, worst of all, the take-over of some 15 nations by Soviet and/or Chinese communist governments, Jimmy Carter was the poster child for an utterly failed presidency.

But that didn't stop the liberal-left media from carrying his water for all those years.

Carter f'ed up because he tried to micromanage a field operation in Iran from DC, OTOH he tried to micromanage the economy and look how THAT turned out.

Too bad our congress (on a bipartisan basis) hasn't heeded these lessons, look at the energy bill and immigration bills as examples of legislative stupidity.

That's what we get for electing retards. Nothing like a DC that can't get more than 30% approval for anyone.

That sort of superficial a$$ki$$ing might make you feel good, but it belongs in a parade or a soundbite for your agenda.
